Revlon ColorSilk Permanent Hair Color with Bond Repair Complex - Brown

I have been using this since COVID-19 and it leaves your hair in great shape, gives amazing long-lasting coverage, is easy to use. The price has gone up a bit (used to be 3.99, now 4.99) which is about 25% increase. I have used the following colors: #30 which is dark and tends to have a long lasting effect but then you can tell right away as greys appear, #47 which is a rich medium brown which does an amazing job of covering the greys and tends to add "golden" warm tones. I leave it on about 5-10 minutes longer than the instructions to deepen the color and there is no damage to my hair. I am 57, curly hair and adds a richness to my complextion after I am done, in other words I don't feel so old, lol

I have used this brand/Colorsilk for about 20 years. Had no reason to change since it works the way I expect it too. Covers the gray and I use it when I need to cover my grays for an event. Works great.

The hair dye comes in a box, like most hair dyes do, and contains detailed instructions on application. You'd expect this hair dye to have a strong scent, but it doesn't, in fact, the scent is pleasant. I opted for the black shade, which worked perfectly for me, but they appear to have a variety of colors and shades.

If anything my hair is slightly more greasy than usual. It was easy and straight forward to apply to my hair but I wasn’t crazy about the scent, I am very sensitive to smells.
