This is a great hair dryer with good power for small size, as long as it works. We purchased two, but both had the same issue after 2-6 months — the high speed stopped working. If it would last longer, would give it 5 stars.

Not the original Revlon product
Disappointed. I wanted to replace the original Revlon hairdrayer I bought 6 years ago. What I got was the imitation version by Helen of Troy (they have licence to use Revlon name). Comes in red box, not the black/grey box as advertised. Doesnt have 1875w/Ionic/Ceramic written on the side of the product, as per original. The second setting is extremely strong - stronger than the original product. I also suspect that it doesnt contain ionic/ceramic properties as it doesnt leave my hair soft and shiny as per the original hairdryer I bought. Dont recommend to buy if you're looking for an exact replacement and results as per the original model.

Good dryer at first, but broke after 6 months
This hair dryer was great when it worked, dryed my hair SUPER quickly. However, after 6 months of occasional use on vacations, it stopped getting hot. It only operates now at a medium speed at a low temperature. A shame, because this was a great dryer otherwise. Re: the reviews about the attachment falling off - you have to make sure it clicks when it goes in, then it stays fine.

A disappointment
I liked this hair dryer at first, even though the attachment kept falling off. I decided to try the dryer without the attachment and it worked fine. It certainly got hot enough that I had to move it away from my head. But after a few weeks, when I turned the dryer on high, it sounded like it was on low. This has happened more than a few times. I had to actually look to see what setting I had put it on (even though it is very easy to know when selecting a setting, up is low and down is high). After a few seconds, or turning it off and then on again, it would start in the high setting. I'm afraid it is going to stop working. I will be taking this back, sad to say.
