Q: Is the item exactly the same as in the photos - meaning it will have the words "1875w / Ionic / Ceramic" written on the side? I dont want a cheap imitation which only has "Revlon" written on the side

A: Disappointed. What I received WASNT exactly the same as the picture. It doesnt have the words "1875W / Ionic / Ceramic" written on the side of the dryer. Means I got a cheap imitation. Thanks - not!

A: How the heck is it 1.35 oz/.084 lbs? Even the lightest hairdryers on the market tend to run a little under a pound. Did you mean 13.5 ounces/.84 lbs,? which makes a lot more sense.

A: Hi Jai, Thank you for your question. Yes, for use in several countries overseas, the voltage selector may need to be placed in the 250-volt position. For connection to a 250-volt supply, use an attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for the power supply receptacle. IMPORTANT NOTE: The dryer switch must be in and remain in the “low“ operating position when using 250 volts. This is normal for dual-voltage appliances.

Q: At the125V setting, should the slot of the voltage switch be positioned so the BOTTOM of the slot is angled & pointing towards 125V or should the TOP of the slot be set to the 125V side of the handle? Instructions fail to clarify.

Do not re recommend. Didn’t work on my trip to Belgium. When used in the US it was sooooooo weak it wasn’t worth it. I accidentally threw away the box so couldn’t return it but do not recommend.

This is a great hair dryer with good power for small size, as long as it works. We purchased two, but both had the same issue after 2-6 months — the high speed stopped working. If it would last longer, would give it 5 stars.

Disappointed. I wanted to replace the original Revlon hairdrayer I bought 6 years ago. What I got was the imitation version by Helen of Troy (they have licence to use Revlon name). Comes in red box, not the black/grey box as advertised. Doesnt have 1875w/Ionic/Ceramic written on the side of the product, as per original. The second setting is extremely strong - stronger than the original product. I also suspect that it doesnt contain ionic/ceramic properties as it doesnt leave my hair soft and shiny as per the original hairdryer I bought. Dont recommend to buy if you're looking for an exact replacement and results as per the original model.

This hair dryer was great when it worked, dryed my hair SUPER quickly. However, after 6 months of occasional use on vacations, it stopped getting hot. It only operates now at a medium speed at a low temperature. A shame, because this was a great dryer otherwise. Re: the reviews about the attachment falling off - you have to make sure it clicks when it goes in, then it stays fine.

I have arthritis in my hands so this little dryer is awesome! Easy to work with. I purchase them 2 at a time...just in case one wears out. Dried my hair quickly, when it was longer and now that it's short. Would definitely recommend !

I liked this hair dryer at first, even though the attachment kept falling off. I decided to try the dryer without the attachment and it worked fine. It certainly got hot enough that I had to move it away from my head. But after a few weeks, when I turned the dryer on high, it sounded like it was on low. This has happened more than a few times. I had to actually look to see what setting I had put it on (even though it is very easy to know when selecting a setting, up is low and down is high). After a few seconds, or turning it off and then on again, it would start in the high setting. I'm afraid it is going to stop working. I will be taking this back, sad to say.
