Ritual Sleep Dietary Supplements Vegan Capsule - 20ct

Bought this to try with a few others. One brand used B6 with their slow release formula, so I wanted to find a brand that did not. So far with Ritual, I am still waking up some time after midnight and not falling back asleep easily. The other two slow release brands I have tried have left me sleeping through the night or falling back asleep shortly after waking, though, I can't take them on work days because I'm groggy the next day. Maybe I'll experiment and compare how fast the three brands dissolve in vinegar. Either way, first impressions of these showy melatonin pills left me unimpressed. The cost to pill ratio is shocking. The pills look pretty and smell nice (there is a vanilla stick in the bottle.) That's not enough for me to consider being a return customer here. I'm unconvinced of their effectiveness. I'll be sticking to much more affordable and better known brands. I would not recommend these.

A little expensive but it has been very effective in helping me fall asleep and sleep through the night, especially during a time when my sleep pattern has been off.

I've been suffering from chronic migraines for year, in 2023 they seemed to increase in frequency, intensity, and length. I have a prescription for Imitrex, but even that would just knock it down and turn it into a normal headache that lasted 3-4 days. My doctor didn't have any solution, so I started reading on my own and came across a Johns Hopkins study that linked migraines to poor sleep. Poor sleep reduces the amount of serotonin your body releases, a deficiency in serotonin can cause migraines, and they found melatonin supplements helped people in many cases. I figured, what do I have to lose. I go to bed at 10 and wake up at 6, I get my 8 hours, but I'll try melatonin. A google later and Ritual came up rated as one of the best melatonins on the market. It arrived in October of 2023, I started taking it every night. I haven't had a migraine or regular headache since. I'm dreaming again. I've concluded without the melatonin, I wasn't actually dropping into REM sleep. Because I wasn't actually sleeping properly, there was a lack of serotonin and therefore MIGRAINES. The one downside is, you need to take the melatonin about 2 hours before bed, otherwise you can wake up a bit groggy. I'll take the groggy over the migraines! Hope this helps you too. I'm a mom, business owner, widow, pet owner, and now a Ritual Melatonin pusher. It's given me my life back.

I've never had great experience with melatonin in the past. I would have very vivid dreams, and would wake up feeling exhausted, but not with these. After one night I woke up feeling refreshed and had more energy, even nights where my pets woke me up multiple times I still woke up feeling rested and in a great mood. I definitely think it's worth giving a try.

I’ve struggled to fall asleep for over a decade now, but I’ve especially struggled to stay asleep. Even taking regular melatonin supplements, I’ve struggled. This product helps me get relaxed enough to fall asleep, but it also helps me stay asleep and wake up feeling refreshed, not groggy. I do wish it was a 30 day supply like the multivitamins are, but that would be my only complaint!

For the price, I would expect at least a full month’s worth of product.
