It helps define & hold curls without leaving hair crunchy, for shiny, frizz-free voluminous curls. This product works great on all naturally curly & textured hair types, from waves, curls & coils! Suggested Use: Finishing touch after our Curl Defining Cream. Apply quarter size amount in sections & scrunch curls in upward motion. Air dry or blow dry with a diffuser for best results. While drying, apply additional product to areas that require more moisture.

This product really disappointed me. I had high hopes, but it has no hold and left my hair dry and stiff the only thing good about it is it still gave my hair definition. (3c/4a)

Okay so this gel is very lightweight and a little goes a looong way. I’m still trying to get the hang of it but when combined with the curl cream, once it dries, it leaves behind a sticky residue that I don’t like. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using too much or if it just doesn’t mesh well with the cream, but because my hair is so frizz prone (I have 3b/3c hair with some thin and thick strands), I need cream and gel to create definition. I reaaallllyyyy want to love this gel but it doesn’t mix well for me. I’m going to have to try it with other products or maybe just use the leave-in with this and see how it works.

It made my hair feel stringy, dry and crunchy! I was really disappointed. I gave it a few tries...applying more/less etc...and the result was the same. Its still sitting on my shelf and needs to be thrown out.

I love how this gel is light weight and holds my waves. Although it can leave a cast, if you use a light oil to scrunch the crunch the cast goes away (in my experience). My recommendation is to not use TOO much product or your hair will tangle more easily.

Gave this product a second chance and it just wasn’t love. Left my hair feeling like straw and couldn’t even brush it out once dried. I really wanted to love it as I wanted to support another Latina.

I have been a Rizos Curls stan for a while, and I was so excited when they released this light hold gel. I use it as the last step in my curl routine when I need some extra hold or when it's really humid outside. I part my hair in 2 and use the prayer hands method to work it down my curls. Once it's dry, I'll add a little oil to break any cast and my hair looks shiny, healthy and defined! 10/10 would recommend.

It dries crispy but won't scrunch out. Can't comb it out either. It locks my curls solid into painful tangles. Beware the pain. Have to WASH it out.
