Rubbermaid 2049358 Food Storage Container, 6 Piece, Clear Base

I purchased a set of assorted sizes specifically for our motorhome and they have been perfect. They stack uniformly and snap together so they stay organized in the cupboard even on bumpy roads. I'm hoping to find one just right for storing spaghetti noodles...got to have the red lid!

This 10 pc was just what I needed. These sizes don't usually come in the variety packs and the ones I use often when making large meals.

They are plenty capable of storing lots of left overs. They hold up well with microwave use and dishwasher use. They can also be used to freeze food. When storing them they stack neatly and the lids interlock. Also the bottom of the bowl will lock into the top of the lids.

The containers can hold a large amounts of food, I was able to place soup, leftover roast, and chili in the 2 sizes that it came with. Overall, these containers are thick, seal well, and are easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some great containers. They came in handy to store away my Thanksgiving leftovers. I also used them to serve food dishes at the table during Thanksgiving dinner too. My favorite features about having them are they are dishwasher and freezer safe. I also like that I can see through the Rubbermaid container clear base. That way, I can see what is inside. It is a great set to have in your arousal. The Rubbermaid container set included three 9-cup containers with lids and two 14-cup containers with lids. I used the 14-cup containers for a Jello salad I had made. I also used the 9-cup Rubbermaid containers to store my food in the freezer. I love the size of these Rubbermaid containers. They do hold a lot of food. They are easy to put away in the cabinet and saves space. I like that the lids snap together or to the bottom of the containers where you can stack them away. I love how well built and durable the Rubbermaid containers are. The plastic material is strong and not made with that flimsy thin plastic that I had purchased once before, which was not Rubbermaid. I love these and recommend them. When I am looking to buy any containers, I make sure they are Rubbermaid. Rubbermaid is the best and a brand I know and trust.

The lids stay in shape after many times in my dishwasher and very little staining. Some small discoloration in the plastics of the containers more a scratchy look/feel than anything else. No food discoloration. They didn’t warp in the microwave, and I have used them many of times. I really do like and prefer Rubbermaid.

My wife and I make large portions at the beginning of the week and eat them throughout the week and these containers are so valuable. the food DOES NOT spoil with a strong seal along with easily being portioned. they stack very orderly and able to hold up in the freezer and fridge. i have even used them for mixing ingredients and they always are able to be cleaned well. no complaints and would highly recommend to anybody looking to portion their food more with wanting an outstanding product!

They are very sturdy and are great for leftovers or for meals made ahead of time. Freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe they are easy to use and stack well in the freezer. They are just the right size for storing large amounts of food. I often make soups in the winter and these hold a good amount of food for storage. Of course these are great for keeping leftovers in or even filling up and freezing for a meal another time but we used ours to clear the kitchen closet. Instead of having half open bags of flour and sugar and brown sugar, etc. we poured those things in to the air tight containers and then stacked them on the shelf. No mess and nice and neat.

The lids click into the bottom of the containers, so you are able to store them securely as well as stack them securely in the fridge. They seem well made, with a tight seal that has kept soup contained. No spillage or anything even after freezing and dishwashing the containers. Great product all around.
