I’ve been using saalt cups for about 5 years now and I will never go back. Having a period isn’t so inconvenient anymore! I never have to spend money on period products (the only reasons I’ve replaced my cup is I lost the first one and my period started being heavier while on my second, so I decided to try out the bigger size) So far the bigger size is working well for me!

attended a wedding the other day and brought my cup with me, knowing my period was due soon, but I didn’t expect it to start that day. During the car ride, I had bad cramps but no blood, and I started seriously regretting only bringing my cup and not packing any tampons just in case. As soon as I got to the venue, I headed straight to the bathroom, and of course, like clockwork, my period started. I started panicking a bit since it was my first time using the cup on my actual period, and I wasn’t fully confident it would protect me from leaks or that I’d insert it correctly, even though I’d done a practice run a week or two earlier. On my first attempt, it didn’t pop open properly, so I took it out, rinsed it with water from my bottle, and cleaned my hands. For my second try, I used the punch-down fold instead of the C-fold and I felt that pop. I rotated it to check, and it felt firm and resisted when I tugged slightly, so I knew it was sealed. Still, I was nervous. I sat back down with my parents, absolutely terrified it would leak through during the wedding. But 4 hours later, after dancing, eating, and socializing, I did a bathroom check and… no leaks! When I took it out, there was still plenty of room left. Honestly, the Salt Cup saved me. First time using it during a real period, and it came through 100%. :ribbon:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Might not be “just right” for everyone, but for me, this blue Saalt cup (blue - I’m over 40 and many years post-birth) feels like nothing when I wear it. Easy to use and to clean, the cloth bag Is lovely, and the pretty packaging was a plus. After using a less-than-comfortable competitor cup for several years, I’m so glad I tried the Saalt cup!

I kept thinking I've been using tampons and pads for 15 years now, why bother switching? I finally decided it was worth a try when I realized returns were easy. I didn't have to worry about that though because I was instantly impressed! I wish I would have listened sooner. Stress and worry free approach to handling my periods. I'm so happy I made the switch!

They emailed me back and forth asking for photos and all sorts of questions answered before agreeing to a replacement. They want to send the replacement UNPACKAGED AND UNSEALED in the cloth storage bag only because "most people throw away the package"?! This is absolutely disgusting. The product should be brand new and sealed. I'm absolutely disgusted with this company and was willing to try again but now I will be warning everyone to stay far away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my saalt cup. I love how I can just forget about it until the end of the day. It stays in place and doesn’t leak. Insertion and removal takes some getting used to but I feel like that will come with practice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the original regular size and I was in need of another. I purchased and it looks like they changed the material and it is now softer. This is a huge hummer because I think this cup is too soft to begin with. Even the color is a different shade so they definitely changed it. I'm not sure if I should try purchasing again or just switch brands completely. I loved it before. Not thrilled with the bot customer service emails either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried cups about 15 years ago and didn’t have any luck. I assumed it was because of my retroverted uterus. I decided to give it a try again because the tampons I liked were getting harder to find. I received the saalt cup and it was much smaller than the one size fits all cup from 15 years ago. I’m a convert! It was easy peasy and I suspect my failure before was due to using the wrong size and had nothing to do with my uterus placement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Saalt survey to help me determine which cup to purchase. The beginner turns out to be too difficult for me. Even after watching the tutorials online, I have a hard time folding it and inserting it. The silicone is way firmer than I thought it would be for a beginner. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s great quality, it smoothly plunge in. I had no doubt in my decision when going for this cup. About last year I switched to a cup and I was iffy about it. The downside about my first cup was that it was not the right size but finally this one fits perfectly with little to no leakage and the color is so pretty I got the green one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a disability that heavily effects the dexterity in my fingers, so I did find it a bit hard to get out. I do not see this being an issue for any able bodied people. (Just to put it into perspective, I cannot button buttons on my shirt. I am still able to get the saalt cup out, it is just harder for me than the average person. ) When I found another company that has a patented design that helps with dexterity issues (the flex company) Saalt offered a full refund and told me that they were glad I found something else that worked for me. I was pleasantly surprised by a how supportive they were of me buying from another business. Emails get answered very quickly and the customer service is quality. I had a very pleasant experience talking to the customer service representative. Overall, I would recommend the saalt cup to anyone who is capable of buttoning their own shirt buttons.
