  • A: Hi Klee, Thanks for reaching out! Most people can use both sizes, the small for lighter days and the regular for heavier days, but one size may be more comfortable. In general, we recommend the size small if you are a first-time cup user, have a light flow, or have a low cervix. We recommend the size regular if you have a heavier flow or a higher cervix.

Love it!

This cup is comfortable. I've had to purchase more than once just because every time you pull on it the silicone will stretch and eventually it gets to a point where it gets close to tearing... you don't want to be stuck with that! But it lasts for a long time and I will gladly keep repurchasing rather than using single-use menstrual products.

Original Salt Cup is better

I prefer the original salt cup. This one is soft so it’s easier to put in and pull out. However because it is softer, it is more prone to leaks.

Literally changed my life

I originally bought the small Saalt cup, and it put pressure on my bladder making it difficult to wear. I got the small soft cup, and it’s amazing. I’ve been using it for three years, and I just bought a replacement as my old one was getting stained and hadn’t been cleaned enough. It’s a learning curve to get used to insertion, but it’s so comfortable when it’s in the right place. I haven’t paid for more than a couple of boxes of tampons since I switched years ago.

Excellent menstrual cup

Comfortable and relatively easy to get in and out, but there is a learning curve for sure! I’ve tried other cups but this by far my favorite.

Finally a comfortable menstrual cup I actually love to use. This cup is perfect. It’s easy to insert, soft, and has never leaked. Other cups were too hard, but this one is perfect. never go back to tampons.

Soft yet stays in place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the softest menstrual cup I have used. I usually have a heavy flow but since I am nearing my 40s, my flow is only heavy for 1-1.5 days instead of 2-3 days. I originally ordered the regular size but it's a bit too big for my regular or lighter days. And it's a little more challenging for me to place sometimes. I contacted Saalt and they were able to promptly send me the small soft cup size with their satisfaction guarantee! I pair these with their underwear so you get double protection and it has worked great. I'm happy that I don't have to buy boxes of tampons every month. Now I just use them as back up.

I’m a Saalt user for life!

I tried the soft cup after the original cup caused me bladder discomfort. I’m so glad I didn’t just give up on cups after that, because the soft cup was the perfect solution! I truly can’t feel it once it’s been inserted. My favorite part might be no longer being a slave to tampons. I used to keep them in every bag, bathroom, and vehicle, so I was never caught off guard. With a cup, I just insert it and walk out the door without a second thought. And traveling without having to pack pads and tampons is amazing!

I watched the tutorials, contacted friends for help, and contacted Saalts helpline which of course is not available on weekends when I needed it. Not excited to try it again. I realized it was just too big for me and a little too rigid even though I was using the Saalt Soft. So I asked Saalt to send me a smaller size and they told me to try again next period. Well it still didn’t work even after having someone else try to insert it in me so I requested a refund, no response. I don’t feel cups are right for me at this time in my life. Saalt please email me back.

Stays in place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a Diva cup for after childbirth for a decade or more (my oldest child is 12). After 3 vaginal births, I have poor pelvic floor strength. The Diva cup would fall out or at least slip down frequently when using the restroom. It also leaked a lot. I’m really pleased the Saalt Soft Cup is wide enough to stay in place and not leak.
