Q: Do I have to buy soft discs for this product m? If so what brand works best?

submitted by Knox rose sweaters - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi there, The Soft Duo pack comes with a size Regular & Small. Most people can use both sizes, the small for lighter days and the regular for heavier days, but one size may be more comfortable. In general, we recommend the size small if you are a first-time cup user, have a light flow, or have a low cervix. We recommend the size regular if you have a heavier flow or a higher cervix.

pretty easy to use but definitely a learning curb. it absolutely holds, but I feel it so it is a bit weird. I have long nails so removing it is a bit harder, and a bit messy.

I purchased this two pack after trying a different brand of menstrual cup and having a hard time with comfort. This cup is much more comfortable than the previous one I was using. I took the quiz on saalt to determine size and it recommended the larger size since I do have kids but I was concerned about the size since I sometimes experience difficulty fully emptying my bladder while using a menstrual cup so I purchased the two pack. I still have the same problem emptying my bladder with these cups. The larger size is still very comfortable though. Will be trying a disc to see if that works better. Overall great cup, I’m just unable to get a good fit.

Great starter pack as I wasn't sure what size to get. The soft is really nice - I barely feel it and no discomfort at all. I finally feel like I can go about my day not worrying. I will say - it was a learning curve and this is only my 2nd month trying these so I still have to remind myself to be patient (like everyone says, but seriously, you'll get it just breath lol). Also very important to wear the right size. I haven't had a child yet so I thought to try the small first but it was constantly sliding (which I know is not that big of a deal, but I constantly felt it move). I tried regular after talking to my OBGYN and it works perfect for me. Don't be afraid to learn and get more comfortable with your body, wish I would have learned that when I was a teenager. Love that we have products like this now.

I’ve been using this for about a year now. I suffer with chronic bladder and pelvic floor pain, and this is the only cup I’ve tried that doesn’t exacerbate my symptoms. Love it!

I literally can’t even feel the cups AND i can use the restroom without worrying if my tampon string will get spoiled… like YAY!!! I got the original cup, but I find it was hard hard for me to insert and take out. I’m SO glad I switched to the soft cups!! It’s easy to clean, remove, insert, and wear.

This is my first experience with using silicone cups since switching from tampons. They’re easy to use and very effective! I’m excited to continue use as they are comfortable, sustainable and saving me money since I don’t have to purchase tampons anymore!

I never thought I would buy one but I did for travels coming up and not needing to bring a ton of tampons that aren’t readily available amd I used it pre trip to try and actually love it. You just have to see how long you can go with yours and I definitely recommend the cleaner with it. I also recommend putting it in while in the shower but it’s also easy to do not in the shower. Definitely get both sizes and see what works best for your body and internal shaping and see what you like better.

I love this cup so much! It’s my first reusable period product and I’ll never go back to tampons!!! The cup is so soft you barely feel it once it’s suctioned. I just completed my first period with it and kept forgetting it was even there! I left it in for 8-12 hours depending on the day & flow. I’m already excited thinking about all the money I’m going to save using this product. Thanks Saalt!!!

I've been using the Saalt cup for over 4 years now and I'll never go back to tampons. They're comfortable, easy to use, easy to clean, and has saved me SO much money. I still use a panty liner or a pad (depending on my flow) because sometimes at work I can't just run to the bathroom when it's full, but I have no complaints!

I’m never going back to using tampons or bulky pads! I wish I knew about this much sooner. I used the regular size when I had a heavy flow and I was able to wear it for up to 10 hours before I experienced slight (and when I mean slight, I mean a small drop) blood. To avoid infections, I would highly recommend that you remove it in the shower at night and in the morning (making sure your hands are clean).

Love Cups, Saalt Just Not For Me

I've used the Diva cup for years. It was time to replace it so I thought I'd try Saalt. I got the soft version in the regular size based on the quiz recommendation. Tried it for one day, and I decided to switch back to Diva. I have a high cervix, and the regular Saalt cup (the cup itself excluding the stem) is too short, making removal extremely difficult. I love the softer silicone and color options Saalt has to offer. The softer silicone is more comfortable than the Diva. But unfortunately, Saalt just wasn't a great fit for me.

As a long-time Saalt user, I had been contemplating switching to the soft cups for a while after I noticed some discomfort from the regular cups. Switching was LIFE. CHANGING. So grateful to have this as a new option for my menstrual care

I've tried other brands to much discouragement. Saalt gave me new faith in the cups. It is definitely a learning curve but Saalt is by far the most comfortable cup out there; it is softer, with large capacity and it comes with a storage bag. I'm still learning but it is much easier with a great product.

I wasn't sure how inwas going to feel about using a cup. I've never tried one before. I was clueless on what size to order. The first cycle took a day or two of a learning curve, but it came quick and easy. I have only tried the small size. I haven't had any issue using, and clean up has been a breeze.

Super Effective but they make cramps so much worse (maybe just me but worth noting)

I started using these when I was sixteen, and the first time I put one in was the first time I noticed cramps. I still use it and love it, but I can still tell the difference between when I have a cup in and when I have a tampon in based on cramps. The weird thing is that I don't feel it as much as I do for tampons. I'd still recommend it, but be aware that cramping could get worse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] comes with a learning curve but comfortable once i get the hang. regular size though is not enough for a heavy flow for more than a few hours so i now go back to tampons during those days.
