Description

Curious kids try to get into anything and everything, but the Safety 1st OutSmart Multi Use Lock helps you keep them out with the first ever decoy button. Your child will think that the decoy button opens the lock, but pushing on it has no effect. You'll know that the flexible surface hides the actual secret to opening the lock.

This multi-use lock prevents your little explorer from getting into a variety of appliances and can also be used to secure cabinets. It is easily attached with an adhesive and is removable when the lock is no longer required.

In side by side comparisons with leading competitors using real life toddlers, the Safety 1st Outsmart Multi-Use Lock was strong enough to keep even the cleverest of toddlers out. Even in lab testing using state of the art mechanical pull force equipment, Safety 1st outperformed the competition. Toddler Tested. Proven Stronger.

I have tried about 4 different types of saftey straps but my husband and I keep coming back to this one. We absolutely love these straps. Super easy to install and use. I have a four year old and 14 month old. Both kids were able to destroy all the other straps but not these. My 4 year old knows how to put these together but doesn't quite have the pincher grip to undo them yet, which is great for keeping him safe. My 14 month tries pulling on them but the adhesive doesn't bust like the other brands I tried. When our fridge one came undone after 3 years of use, my husband just replaced the adhesive and it has lasted another year. They also don't leave any damage when removing them, as we used them in an apartment. Just make sure to clean and fully dry your surface before applying the adhesive. We have been searching stores for these but they always seem out.

I really love the concept of this product but the adhesive didn't last 2 days even after following all the directions. Is there a way to order replacement adhesive?

I bought these because I have a child with autism who was always pulling the clothes out of the dresser everyday. And I was tired of putting it back so I bought these. So far so good. Easy to put on! Very sturdy!

We bought it for my mother in law who is 87, in a wheelchair, and likes to get into things. She was taking multiple meals out of the freezer to thaw out. She has a hard time remembering things (like stay out of the freezer and stop taking food out.) We finally had to resort to locking the freezer. It's been working great. As a matter of fact my husband forgot that it was on there and was trying to get in. He was tugging away trying to figure out why it wouldn't open and then suddenly remembered that it was locked! We have been very happy with it, and it's an excellent price.

Love this lock. My kids don’t try investing time anymore into trying to get it off after realizing the front button didn’t work. Also love the pivot feature in case I want to leave it open for long periods at a time... Something I haven’t seen a lot of competitive products have. Great purchase!

This product has been on our refrigerator for about 4 days. My 2 year old is obsessed with opening the door and standing there looking at the food (but is far too picky to actually eat!) or pushing the light on and off. This has done the trick! We have forgotten a few times that we now have the refrigerator "locked" and pull the handle, the door doesn't budge.
