Purchased this 65" qn90f to replace a 12 year old Samsung LCD. I am happy with the image quality, blooming, etc. 4K HDR is a huge upgrade to what I had. Also, since I have a large window in my TV room, the anti-glare finish on the screen is fantastic. The first qn90f I received arrived with a screen defect where it had a discolored spot. I was able to replace it, and set up my replacement unit. There is a bit of a dirty screen effect and a grid of dots you can see on certain solid colors, but not too bad. My main issue is with the motion processing. With motion features off, the stuttering was very startling to me with movies and shows filmed at 24fps. This is probably expected, as I was coming from an older TV with much slower response time that blurred the frame changing a bit more. When using the motion processing features blur/judder/etc, there are very noticeable artifacts and screen tearing when these are set to Auto or manually high. Even with these turned down to help smooth a bit (without introducing artifacts or soap opera effect), I still get some random microstuttering which is driving me a bit crazy. It's hard to reproduce since it's random and doesn't occur too frequently (maybe 2-3 times during an episode of a show). I'm hopeful maybe a future firmware update or something can help, as I saw a similar review on the Best Buy website (for 55" model).

Movie – Best for watching in dark environments 5. I recently upgraded to the SAMSUNG 55-Inch QN90F Neo QLED 4K Smart TV, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality blew me away. The Mini LED backlighting combined with Neo Quantum HDR+ delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and an incredible level of detail—even in the brightest or darkest scenes. One standout feature is the Glare-Free Panel. Even in a bright room with lots of natural light, there are no distracting reflections, and the image remains crystal clear. The Neo Slim Design is sleek and modern, adding a stylish touch to any space without being bulky.Smart features are robust as expected—fast interface, voice control, and easy access to all major streaming apps. Don't get me wrong Tizen is functional, but not the most user friendly menus or settings. Picture and sound modes are lacking and trying to switch between PC, Game, or Standard modes is more convoluted than they should be.

The picture quality is insanely sharp and vibrant, even in a bright room. The Mini LED technology makes colors pop beautifully, and it handles fast motion like a dream. Sports look super smooth, and gaming on it is a fantastic experience with minimal blur or lag. My family and I have been really enjoying it—my kids love watching animated shows because the colors are so bold and lifelike, and I’ve been catching up on action movies that look incredibly crisp and detailed. We also use it for streaming and casual gaming, and it switches between apps and inputs quickly without any hiccups. The built-in speakers are surprisingly solid for such a slim TV—clear enough that we haven’t rushed to hook up our soundbar. The sound has decent depth and volume for everyday viewing. Only downside? It doesn’t support Dolby Vision, which some streaming content uses, but honestly, the HDR performance is still excellent. The contrast and brightness are so good that you probably won’t even miss it. If you’re looking for a premium 43" TV that delivers top-tier visuals and performance for movies, sports, and gaming, this one’s a winner for sure. Definitely a solid upgrade for our living room.

Things I like about this TV: • Super quick remote response without lag • Exceptional picture even in bright light • Apps apps and more apps, all work well and are quick I like that the colors are vivid and rich, the sound is soundbar quality with great depth and the overall resposivness of the unit is good not to mention all the endless free content thanks to 2700 free channels! You know how good this is just by seeing the picture. It's the best picture I've seen in a tv yet! The picture is so crisp and bright, and is by far the most outstanding yet! Then all the things this TV can do compared to others , blows other tvs out of the water. It has every console with it (x box, Xbox 1, Playstation, etc) to where you don't even have tp have the system. Just an account. There's so many features that im figuring out along the way that makes me feel this is definitely worth every penny. Between the picture and having every game consoles within it, it's a steal! I definitely highly recommend this! I don't even think my phone can capture the high quality picture. Additionally this tv really optimizes contrast, brightness, depth and color for extraordinary detail across every scene , making it amust more enjoyable experience whether you are watching a movie, gaming, or whatever your needs are. I love how this tv has reduces reflections, while it offer a gentler viewing experience, allowing you to enjoy hours of content without discomfort, and your eyes will definitely thank you for that! Overall is absolutely wonderful!

The center-mounted pedestal holds the screen at an ideal height, leaving just the right amount of space for an external soundbar if you choose to use one. The bezel is razor-thin and practically disappears once the screen is on, giving it a sleek, modern look, whether viewed head-on, or from the side. From the moment we powered it on, the setup process was smooth and intuitive—just what we’ve come to expect from Samsung. We had the option to use the included remote or the SmartThings app on our phone. After logging into our existing Samsung account, the TV even remembered many of our favorite apps from a previous device, which was a nice touch. The menu and home screen are incredibly easy to navigate. Our 11-year-old figured things out in minutes. We set the display to “Filmmaker Mode,” which shows movies and shows just as the directors / content creators intended. It’s great that you can customize picture settings for each input—so you can have Filmmaker Mode for one device and Game Mode for another. All the major streaming apps are here. You won't need to attach any extra devices to access them.. Streaming quality is phenomenal, with crisp, breathtaking 4K resolution across the board. YouTube’s 4K HDR content, in particular, looks jaw-droppingly good. We found ourselves watching hours of 4K footage from Japan, just because the picture quality was that impressive. Streaming 4K HDR at 220 Mbps+ over Wi-Fi, with no stuttering or buffering, was nothing short of incredible. The TV's hundreds of local dimming zones deliver deep blacks and dazzling highlights, especially in HDR. This is the promise of MiniLED! Samsung has done a wonderful job of all-but-eliminating reflections with the anti-glare coating. This means you can enjoy the TV in any lighting environment. Audio quality is equally impressive. The TV can get quite loud without any distortion and easily fills a small living room or office. As for gaming—playing at 4K 120FPS is a total game-changer. Everything looked and felt ultra-smooth. In short, this TV exceeds expectations on every level. A+ experience.
