I switched to these blue sponges from the pink ones and love them. I have not had anything scratch from these and they clean my dishes well. I do usually get it super soapy and rinse it through before first use because they are a bit stiff to start.

I ordered these twice, both times the sponges came damped… Once from the store and second shipped, so this lets me know that this was a manufacture problem, not a target issue. I threw them away with no refund. They didn’t have a mildew smell, more of a chemical smell. I’m not washing my dishes with these.

These are not the same sponges sold in stores! Same as Amazon. These are about 1/3 thinner, and made of a much lighter, flimsier material. I now know this is true because I bought one at my local supermarket so I could compare. Not the same sponge at all@
