Q: May I safely scrub my marble or granite countertops with the more abrasive flex texture side of the sponge? Would it be scratch free on those surfaces?

This was my first time using any Scrub Daddy product. I wasn’t too sure if I should have gotten the normal smiley face one but when I used this sponge it was okay. It felt very comfortable to use and wasn’t too bulky like other sponges. The downfall was how these sponges didn’t last long. I don’t know if I do dishes too often or what. But I would have to replace my sponge quicker than usual. This type of sponge has a ton of “ air bubbles” which gives it the iconic texture. And because of this the sponge would kind of lose it cleaning power/go flat. And overtime it would sort of……disintegrate. Pieces of the color sponge would flake off when I washed dishes resulting in a poor wash. Again, I think I will have to try out the original sponge to test if the product is really this way or not.

I don’t know if I had a bad batch, but the 2 I’ve used so far fell apart within 1 week. Scrubbers were disintegrating before my eyes like quicksand with each subsequent hand wash of dishes. Disappointing.

The quality of these sponges has dramatically declined. I've been a Scrub Daddy fan for years but the ones I bought recently are practically falling apart after only a few uses. I'm bummed. I guess I have to find a new brand of sponges.
