Serta Medium Comfort Curve Gel Memory Foam Pillow

I have some neck/shoulder nerve pain issues and can’t sleep on my back, so the curved pillows help keep my neck in the right positions during the night. This pillow is firm, but has juuust the right amount of give for me. I have had the pricey $150 type pillows from various brands and honestly, this one is a better fit for me I absolutely love it and am considering buying a second one to have when this one eventually is at its end of life.

Comfortable, no neck pain

Loved the texture and firmness of the pillow but it reeked. Wrapped it in a bedsheet to cover the smell but it seeped through in the night. The actual inside of the pillow was ripped up a little too

I've been a side sleeper for a long time and comfy pillows are so necessary to prevent neck pain. I'd never tried a pillow with a curve but it's comfortable. It seems like good quality foam and doesn't smell funny.

I really wanted to like this pillow since I am a side sleeper. The contour of the pillow is perfection. The pillow is just too firm for me. My head is elevated too much and puts strain on my neck. I have been using it while sitting on my couch with an ice pack due to a pulled muscle in my shoulder and it is perfect for that.

I'm a side sleeper and I just can't seem to find the right pillow for me. During the first night, I just couldn't get comfortable. I usually fall asleep very quickly, but I tossed and turned for a whole before I was able to sleep. I tried it again the next night and i still had the same problem. It's just too flat and firm. I don't reallly like the foam. It just wasn't the right fit for me.

Oh, Serta Comfort Curve, you were my side-sleeping savior! Your shape is pure genius for cradling necks and offering a cozy nook for my arm-under-the-pillow habit. Pure bliss! BUT (and it's a big but), you're a one-trick pony. Try sleeping any other way? Forget it. You're rigid and unyielding. Most nights, you end up stacked under another pillow, where you're surprisingly firm and supportive. Bonus points for the washable cover! Major side-eye for the initial horrific smell (it does vanish, thankfully). And let's be honest, you look utterly bizarre in a pillowcase. The Verdict: Amazing for dedicated side sleepers with arm-draping tendencies. Useless otherwise. Prepare for a stinky start and an ugly pillowcase situation. Pros: Fantastic side-sleeping comfort, great for arm-overs, washable cover, surprisingly supportive when stacked. Cons: No versatility, awful initial smell, looks bad in pillowcases. Score: 3/5 stars (specifically for side sleepers!).

I'm a big side sleeper, so this has been nothing short of a great pillow. The contour in the pillow is really helpful for my neck and shoulders. This pillow is made of really good quality. I would definitely recommend this for side sleeper.

This is the perfect pillow. It’s great and holds it shape and it’s not too stiff. This is quickly become my favorite pillow because I am a side sleeper and the way is shaped. It’s perfect for right by my neck/shoulder for when I’m on my side. It holds it shape and has held up fantastic through weeks of use.

Suoer comfortable pillow. Its curve fits nicely and forms to body so well. My sleep at night has improved so much since i started sleeping with this pillow at night. Very good quality and made very well.

This pillow is comfortable. It had a very minor smell when I opened it but it did dissipate quickly. I am a side sleeper and I find that it is supportive enough for me. I also like that there is room for my shoulder with the contour.

I love the cutout in this pillow! No matter which way I tilt my head as a side sleeper, my head is still on the pillow. Unfortunately, this pillow is way too firm for me- it provides good support for my head but wake up several times throughout the night from laying on my ear on the pillow. I wish it was more cushioned.

As a side sleeper, I loved the notched cutout area. I felt like it helped my neck and shoulders. The pillow is soft, but firm. It doesn't immediately sink down when you lay your head down and cradles it really nicely. I wish it was a little thicker/higher.

I was skeptical about this pillow but was pleasantly surprised! It is perfect for a side sleeper or stomach sleeper (probably a back sleeper as well but I don’t sleep on my back so I don’t know). My neck feels amazing in the morning. It is so comfortable and I love the “cut out” it has for my shoulder. It does have a mild odor for a week or so but that dissipates. Would definitely recommend!

I found this Serta Pillow to be dense for me. I like a little give with a pillow and this does not seem to do that enough for me. I sleep mostly on my side and it seems to elevate my head a little higher than comfortable. It did keep a nice temperature though out the night.

Its nice, but a little too firm. I like the notch in it. I dont feel like my head is getting too hot using it. I do feel like i am getting a restful sleep while using it. Overall a good pillow, especially if you prefer your pillow to be firmer.

If you are not used to firm, taller pillows, you may need a few nights to break it in/get used to it. I was ready to throw in the towel after night one, but I gave it another try and haven't looked back. I mainly sleep on my side so this is perfect. One note, when I sleep on my back, my head doesn't completely fall on the pillow because of how far the sides come down. So if you don't spend most of the night sleeping on your side and your neck is on the shorter side, you may have a hard time getting comfortable on your back.

I’ve looked for a “good” pillow for many years and can never really find the right one. I guess I just sleep in weird positions and my neck/shoulders are always sore. This pillow really helps! The one down side is that the pillow definitely has a weird smell and even after airing out for a few days, it still smells the same.

I like the firmness of this pillow, but it’s just too low for how I sleep. It’s about 3 inches thick, and that’s too low to be comfortable while sleeping on your side. It is a nice size and shape. I just wish it was thicker overall.
