Shark Matrix Robot Vacuum for Carpets and Hardfloors with Self-Cleaning Brushroll and Precision Mapping RV2310

This is very helpful for keeping the house clean. I have hard floors with a couple area rugs, and two carpeted bedrooms. It transfers easily between all the surfaces. Based on how much comes out when I empty the cup I’m satisfied with it. It does get sick sometimes, once it went into the bathroom and somehow got behind the door (the door was all the way open) so I had to help it. It also doesn’t always pay attention to the “no go” zones, but has never fallen down the stairs so that’s good. Seems to waste time and energy tho. Goes down the hall to clean my office, goes back down the hall to the living room, down the hall again to the master, back down the hall too the kitchen, then returns to the office and bedroom for three swipes again in those rooms. A bit inefficient. Takes 2 hours 25 minutes to clean 1,000 sq ft of space. Still love it.

It gets everything. It’s such an efficient way to clean everyday. I love that it doesn’t bump into everything like my old roomba, and it’s a lot more quiet than the roomba.

Worked great at first. Now a few months in, the suction has decreased and I have to use a regular vacuum after to get what was missed. Disappointed as it is not convenient. Also can’t order just a filter, need the entire debris catcher.

Giving it an extra star because it does clean very well. However, our machine makes an awfully loud turning noise. I have had previous shark vacuum machines that have not made a noise like this. Unsure if it is my machine or overall what every machine is like. I did contact shark warranty and their remedy was “you can take the roller out and it will eliminate the noise” and that it is normal wear and tear. I would understand wear and tear if I had the product for over a year but I have only had it for one month. And why should I have to remove a piece that has an important function if the machine is defective?

I have three kids, two large dogs (heavy shedding golden retriever and a chocolate lab), long-haired cat, and we live out in the country tracking in dust, dirt and debris. I vacuum at LEAST once a day, sometimes twice, sweep constantly and mop daily. I have hardwoods throughout except a high pile area rug in great room and a few low pile area rugs in kitchen. I previously had a roomba that didn’t work well. It was super loud, got stuck every time, and just sort of wandered around banging hard off everything. My hopes weren’t high. This shark was so easy to map, to mark off no go zones, etc. The WiFi and app seem to work great so far. It cleans awesome and leaves those beautiful vacuum lines in my carpet. It’s also so quiet for a vacuum. It doesn’t bang into anything and hasn’t gotten stuck yet. I do have couches and tables and stools that are off the floor and my room a would get lodged under them and the battery would die, never finishing a clean. This thing avoids those areas on its own and what it goes under it gets out of. I am hoping to only have to drag out my regular vacuum once or twice a week now. The reason for the four stars was it clearly says in the target ad this is “self-emptying” and it is not. That was a bummer. I got it for $199 on a deal day though so I’m overall super happy and impressed with it!

Cleans fairly well on hard floors. Bought because of non tangle brush roller - although that works with my dogs hair on my upright Shark it wraps around this roller. Shark only offers a replacement dust bin. No replacement for brush roller and side brush and the knock offs on Amazon don’t work.

As advertised, once programmed, AWESOME!

I bought this to replace another robot vacuum that I had, that sadly died to the point I could not repair it. I appreciated the LIDAR functionality on the old one, so wanted to replace like for like. This robot vacuum is an idiot. It meanders through your home, it doesn't always obey "No go zones", you cannot see where it actually cleaned, and it gets stuck about 50% of the time. I did everything I could to assist it and give it time, to see if things would smooth out. It did not. Do not purchase. Go with a Wyze vacuum instead.

Very smart! I’ve had for almost 6 months, has never failed down my stairs and only has gotten stuck one time!

Only worked for a week or so before it quit charging. The filter was not replaceable. And it really didn’t do a very great job even in the short time it did work. Returned

Traded the Irobot Roomba 675 for the Shark Matrix and it's like night and day! The Roomba was the worst! This Shark Matrix is quiet, efficient, and works so well! Hands down worth the $ and definitely recommend!

I had read reviews and knew there may be an issue with the wifi connection but had read the actual hardware worked well. Once opened the machine was able to locate the Bluetooth but wouldn't pair. As I don't need that feature it wasn't a big problem. The vacuum portion works well. The noise is a little higher than a previous brand but the suction picks up small debris great. I knew going into purchase what issues may arise and was okay with those.

Less than 2 months of moderate use, poor pick up and batteries dies is 30 min. What a waste of money!

I want to start by saying that the actual robot is good. It has excellent suction and cleans really well. However, the mapping is counterintuitive and hard to use, and Shark's support is truly awful. I only really recommend it for the hardware, but the app sucks.

It’s okay. The brush is not self cleaning. It can’t map multi levels, it’s tough to label the map so labeling the no go spots is extra difficult. I do like it though. I’m half and half on keeping or returning it. I decided to get it a few two weeks ago I’m not sold on the idea of paying 200/300 dollars for an item I’ll have to buy 2-3 of.

I needed to update an older shark robot and this gem delivers! Love the mapping feature! Great buy!

Very loud doesn’t go close to walls

After two days of using it, wifi cannot connect. I talked a tech support, they could not do anything. I ended up returning it to Target. Is it just a bad luck?

This one is way better than any other robot that I have had! The mapping is spot on and it does a great job picking up dirt and does not get stuck!
