It’s nice looking, holds a lot of water, is very quiet and seems easy to clean, but even the low setting is way too high and the mist drenches everything so I have to lay towels down.

I love that it is easy to clean. The handle is convenient, and it puts out a good amount of mist. HOWEVER, it doesn’t have enough power to properly disperse the mist, so water pools on top of the unit and runs into the handle area, and the floor also gets wet below. I returned this item.

First of all it looks great on any table it has a sleek design but also does a great job doing what it was made for. there is a nice even distribution of humidity and i like how its slightly taller than most humidifiers.

With three kids (2 of whom are school-aged), a humidifier is a necessity, especially during flu season. Most humidifiers with this capacity are bulky & unattractive. But this is so elegant and sleek, virtually noiseless, and super easy to use and clean! It’s slim design makes it simple to fill and fit in a variety of locations. The power button is highly responsive to the slightest touch. The auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind.

It is a bit heavy when filled with water but carefully done its fast. I really like the design it matches everything. Thank you.

My allergies/ congestion went away within my first night of using.This humidifier works great to provide moisture to our bedroom. Holds a fair amount of water and allows me to run it all night on high for 2 nights before refilling , very nice wood design gives a nice decor to the house/ bedroom. The only downside is the LED light in the button. The light is very bright and does not turn off. As someone who likes the room to the complete dark this is a downside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not realize a humidifier could be so stylish. The Sharper Image UHS1 Humidifier is a sleek yet classic design. I love the woodgrain finish. I believe this humidifier will bring a nice design element to any space. Not only is it pretty to look at, it is fully functional. The tank holds a gallon of water. You can use cool tap water or, if you have very hard water, it is suggested to use distilled water to avoid mineral build-up. The unit is very simple to use. Remove the water tank by pulling up on the handle towards you. Turn the tank upside down and remove the cap at the bottom. Then fill the water tank with cool tap water or distilled water and place the cap back on. Place the tank back on the base, placing the water tank cap outlet valve over the raised post on the base. There is a touch power button to turn on the unit. Mode 1 turns on the high setting (fast humidification of larger rooms), Mode 2 turns on the low setting (quiet, nighttime use or for smaller rooms), and Mode 3 turns off the humidifier. The humidifier also has a low water indicator and an auto shut-off when empty. It puts out a nice stream of cool mist. When the humidifier isn’t in use for a period of time, it is best to thoroughly clean and dry the humidifier and store it away in the box or cover it to prevent dust for getting in. Right now, I don’t really need to use the humidifier. The weather is pretty humid. But, once we start using our wood burning stove this fall/winter, the UHS1 Humidifier will definitely be needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product free to test out. It is sleek, and looks good in every room. Works really good. Haven’t had a bloody nose since using it. It did malfunction on me, however. It is supposed to shut off automatically when it is out of water...after two days of using it, with no issues, it didn’t shut off. After the third time I refilled it, it didn’t shut off and melted the plastic together. I hope they can fix this issue before sending anymore out to sell.

Living in CA the air can be really dry and I have three big Queen Anne palm trees in my back yard that cause havoc as regards to allergies when they pollinate. I used the humidifier to help with the dry cough I have at night and it worked great, feeling so much better now I'm able to sleep without interruption from coughing spells. Having cool mist and not hot steam also stops the room from heating up so I'm all good. Love the design and the big tank so I'm not having to fill it up every two seconds. Super easy to clean too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier works well. It looks nice enough although the wood look of the base looks a little cheap, and the power button feels flimsy when you push it. It may very well hold up for the long haul, but it's just the look and feel.

All of our noses are stuffy, we're coughing, and we have a sore throat. I plugged this in, and within a half hour or so we could all feel a difference. I love how simple it is to use. Just fill it, plug it in, and your ready to use. It's modern shape even matched the decor in my home. Its perfect!

We’ve gone through a few humidifiers without previous knowledge of what to really look for, but now...I feel like we are experts! This humidifier rises to the top of our lists. It’s a really cool design that lets you clearly see how much water is in the tank. There are no super bright lights, which is a requirement for us having a pitch dark nursery. It’s also crazy quiet, which is spectacular! The best thing...it’s super easy to clean. No crazy designs that make parts hard to reach or take apart. Easy to remove build up and feel confident it’s safe for use.
