Our new African Black Soap, Calm & Clearing Bar soap is designed specifically for melanin-rich skin. Infused with African Black Soap, Oats, Aloe, & Vitamin E, this bar soap gently cleanses and helps balance dry, troubled skin, leaving it feeling calm, smooth, and visibly moisturized for 24 hours. Our moisturizing Bar soap is formulated with fair trade Shea Butter. Through our proprietary Shea Emulsion technology, we were able to break down Shea Butter into thousands of droplets that provide even, smooth coverage across the skin. This bar soap is 92% naturally derived and free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and petrolatum. For best results, use this bar soap in combination with other products from SheaMoisture's African Black Soap Collection.

This is definitely better than the previous black soap formulas Has a very unique unisex scent. However I still wish this was more authentic to the original black soap from Africa and less refined/smooth. Still a good and affordable alternative though

I got this to try face and body care and not only does it work but it smells soooo nice, the only thing I can compare the smell to is like a more natural earthy sweet smell like if fruit scented chemical cleaners smelled natural.

The ingredients leave my skin feeling clean and smooth as silk. When I’m done cleaning my face I immediately use my toner and literally nothing is on the cotton pad. That’s how I know the product cleans well! After using this product for a few weeks I as well as others can tell a difference in my appearance of my skin. This has now become a staple in my skin care routine!

Packaging is well enough so that you can still smell the scent of the soap. It may not be real African black soap, but it’s good. My skin feels soft after using it.
