Conditioners provide a protective layer that improves the appearance of dry split ends. Peppermint stimulates the scalp for an invigorating experience. Apply to clean, towel dried hair. Work a generous amount of product into hair from root to ends. Gently comb through for even distribution. Do not rinse. Apply additional product as needed depending on hair length and condition. A: I've used both products singly. Based on how I feel both products worked on my hair I think they would combine well. I would be careful not to use too much of the Castor Oil Leave-in Conditioner. I did once and I could feel it was too much when my hair was dry. A little goes a long way. The Curl and Style Milk I used liberally.

Good but not great….
It does have some slip and provides some moisture but does not have the same knot melting effect that other conditioners have. It also does not provide as much moisture as other products. It does have a pleasant scent but the packaging needs work because the pump can be hard to work with when your hands are slippery. Overall it gets the job done but I’m not super impressed.

Decent, but doesn't absorb well.
I've used this product for months now, and although it is moisturizing and conditioned well, it tends to sit on top of my hair rather than be absorbed. I could see little white dots left behind once my hair dried, and it was a fairly heavy product and weighed my hair down. For reference, I have low porosity 3a/3b curls. I don't care much for the smell, and it smells quite strong, but a little goes a long way, so it will last you awhile.

This is by far my favorite leave in conditioner. It moisturizes my dry ends, yet doesnt leave my hair too greasy. It works great on curly or straight hair, and is easily washable with water. It smells great, although this may be a problem for people who dont like fragrances. All in all, amazing leave in.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this is the second SheaMoisture product I’ve tried that I really didn’t like. I had high hopes after enjoying one of their other products, but unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me at all. While it might be suited for a different hair type, I feel it’s important to share my experience. The scent is a major issue for me — though many people seem to love it, I couldn’t stand it. My hair is shoulder-length, straight with slightly wavy ends. The conditioner itself applied easily, it wasn’t too thick or too thin, but that sums up my positive experience. However, as a leave-in conditioner, it just didn’t work, it’s a failed concept to me. It was far too heavy for my hair type, leaving it feeling weighed down and greasy. My hair looked dirty and oily and glued almost immediately after applying it. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this product again, and I’ll be discarding it.

So Disappointed
I purchased Shea Moisture products to AVOID harmful ingredients. Well, was I wrong!!! Now the "new formulation" adds polyquaternium-10, polysorbates, amd other toxic ingredients. These ingredients are horrible for your health and safety. They cause me to have severe skin irritations, and systemic allergic reactions. Sad to say, but Shea Moisture has really gone against what I thought they stood for. Don't buy these new formulations if you value your health, wellness, and safety!!!
