Q: can I use a standard bulb in this lamp? 150 watts is excessive. How about a 75 watt bulb?

A: Also confused about this bc the socket and instructions specifically say max 20W LED bulb or 120W incandescent. Incandescent is almost non-existent anymore. I am finding 40 and 60W LED bulbs all over the place but nothing as low as 20 LED.

Defective screw
I like this lamp with the shelves, gives just the right ambience to my office. Yeah, it would've been nicer if the shelves weren't plastic and maybe if it was a little taller. But my biggest problem was that one of the connecting screws was too thick and I had to improvise to keep going. I'm sure Target would have made it right, but I already had it half-put together. Just wish they would've done like some other companies and include one extra of each screw in case I lost one (or one was defective).

Great floor lamp with shelves
I like this lamp. Read the specifications so you know ahead of time that it is made with metal and plastic. You have to make the lampshade fit into a circular shape, it’s easy to do, just know ahead of time. I would purchase another one if I needed one. I like the height, the shelves and how easy it was to put together.

Great lamp to use as a lamp/nightstand
Love this lamp for a guest room bed. I did let have alot of space for a lamp and nightstand so this was a great option. I also used a regular daylight led bulb instead of the 150 watt and it was perfect. The shelves are made out of plastic so be aware of this however when it’s all put together it’s sturdy. I didn’t have white in the room but I did had material left over from the curtains I made so I slipped the material on the shade and under the rim to tuck it in and it was perfect no glue needed. Great purchase and price!
