Safe for all colorfast washables and works in all water temperatures. Simply saturate the soil on your fabric, rub in the gel stain remover to activate it, and allow it to act for 5 minutes. For dried on stains, allow this gel stain treatment to penetrate overnight before washing. After pretreatment, wash in laundry with regular detergent. A: What a great question! Shout® Advanced Action Gel can be applied to clothes up to a week before washing. However, we recommend avoiding pre-treating bright, khaki, or fluorescent colors for more than a few minutes prior to washing. I hope this helps! – Megan, SC Johnson Consumer Care

I always just got the original bottle but the advanced acting gel is the best. It really gets out those hard deep stains and even old stains, I'm so impressed! I love the scent but I love all cleaning/laundry scents. The spray is great and is able to get a good concentration on the stain.

After doing laundry for over 50 years, it’s hard to come out with a new product, however, sometimes all it takes is s tweak. What I loved about this gel, is that it is; Gel. It is thicker than standard shout, and stays in place. That’s all I can ask of from a cleaner. I put it on something and it stays until it cleans it. It’s tiny, simple steps, that makes laundry just a little bit easier, and me happy.

Since the stains were old, I didn’t expect them to completely fade and go away but this gel did a very good job on the stains. They are almost 80-90% gone in two washes. I applied and put it overnight for better results and washed with hot water as directed.

It has even gotten out stains that were on there from a week ago, where my daughter played baseball and she skinned her knees in the grass. I was super impressed at how well the things came out. I barely had to scrub them.

I’ve been enjoying putting this product on recent clothes stains. Leave it on for a few, then toss it in the wash with the rest of the clothes. Garments come out looking better before and stain free. Love it!
