Safe for all colorfast washables and works in all water temperatures. Simply saturate the soil on your fabric, rub in the gel stain remover to activate it, and allow it to act for 5 minutes. For dried on stains, allow this gel stain treatment to penetrate overnight before washing. After pretreatment, wash in laundry with regular detergent. A: What a great question! Shout® Advanced Action Gel can be applied to clothes up to a week before washing. However, we recommend avoiding pre-treating bright, khaki, or fluorescent colors for more than a few minutes prior to washing. I hope this helps! – Megan, SC Johnson Consumer Care

However I do like the other about with the scrub top for working the product in better. But with minimal effort I greatly reduced makeup stains on my makeup remover cloth. If I had been more diligent I think they would have come out completely

As a mom, this product is a lifesaver! I look forward to using this product on many more stains. It's merely odorless, which is a plus! Great value. I will say that the bottle that I received the product with a defective spraying mechanism , so I had to use another spraying mechanism from another bottle. Overall, I will give this product 5 stars. The defective spraying mechanism did not take away from the results.

I feel like it offers good value for the price, and it’s easy to apply with the gel formula. Plus, it feels a bit more eco friendly than some other stain removers I’ve tried. Definitely a staple for my laundry routine. Really effective stain remover that’s easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used shout, stain remover gel and stick in the past so it was excited to get a new bottle of the advanced action gel formula. So far I’ve used this on three different pieces of clothing. One was a grease stain from the grill. Another one was a popsicle stain, and the other was candy. I followed the directions and sprayed the gel on rubbed it in and let it sit and then continue to wash as directed according to the clothing directions. Each item came out staying free and I can excitedly say this will be a regular in my laundry room.

I've tried many stain removers and this is by far my favorite. It doesn't have a nasty strong smell and the bottle always sprays for the full use of liquid without the nozzle not working. I can spray our clothing and put it in the washer as the last item. By the time the washer fills it has enough time to soak in and do its job. My clothes always come out again free even with the nastiest of stains. If you have a busy household I highly recommend this product.

I thought for sure it was ruined, but after applying the gel and allowing it to sit overnight, it washed out the next day! Because it's a gel, there is virtually no mess. It stays where you put it. No offensive smells, either. And it takes so little it's a great value!

I scrubbed it for about 3 minutes before letting it sit then washed it. The old stain same process but it was still visible when pulled from the wash. I love Shout, I think their products are great. But I need something that gets old great stains out. Still 10/10 recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this is very easy to use and to apply. I tried this on different types of stains like food stains on baby bibs and blood stains on underwear. It's not always 100% effective but it does a decent job removing most of the stain.
