Hello, Revine, We ordered this kitchen step trash can to replace a sensor can that would open at inopportune moments, like while washing dishes and standing nearby. So we wanted to Simplify. I never thought that I would be so pleased and enamored with a kitchen trash can, but you've done it again by taking a common kitchen device and making it Way Better. The design is clean and "simple", the open and close is super smooth and reliable, and the approach to bag management is brilliant. Works great. Lid closes slowly and softly; doesn’t bang shut. Easy to change garbage bags. The custom bags and store bought fit nicely. Not sure how long the deodorant pod is to last but after two bags of garbage, we need a new one. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Love it
I love it, it's just a little narrower than the 45L simplehuman that I had previously which enables the dishwasher door to open freely without moving the bin. As previous my only issue was the courrier who failed to deliver next day. It was scheduled for delivery next day and the following 2 days but was returned to depot and finally arrived on the 4th day.

Rectanular Step Can
I really like this 45L Step Can! It's actually my third one that I purchased. I orginally bought it years ago in a shiny black finish and when I went to get a new one, that color was no longer available. So I decided to get the stainless look and it's so nice. I love that it's not too big, it's the perfect size for my kitchen. I highly recommend this can.

Came with a dent in the side that I banged out. The sent for the freshener smells like old trash to me. Maybe I got one from a bad batch. Will use a different scent pod in the future. Easy to clean and is otherwise sturdy.

Love the Trash Can NOT the smell
Love the trash can HATE the smell. We have never had an issue with the smell. This one definitely has an issue. I don’t know why. We have tried everything. Very disappointed. Only way you won’t have the smell is with a new bag. Then as soon as you put something in the trash it smell.
