Q: I see customers used this with an adjustable base, Does that mean the slats can be removed? I want to make sure the slats are removable and the middle part connects to headboard and footboard?

A: Hi Lis, we do not recommend the use of an adjustable bed with a wingback; however, Skyline standard beds can be used with adjustable bases if the adjustable base can fit fully inside our frame. For a queen size bed, the measurements at the metal corners are 52-1/4" x 72-1/4". For a king size bed, the measurements at the metal corners are 68-1/4" x 72-1/4". These metal corners are necessary to the construction of our frame and cannot be removed. They sit at 6” above the ground. The adjustable base must fit with these dimensions.

Q: Would this bed be compatible with a mattress and a box spring?

A: This bed is designed to be used with a standard mattress and box spring combination. Please note that there is a 20" inch gap between the bottom of the headboard to the metal bed frame where the box spring sits. The distance from the metal bed frame to the top of the upholstered rail is approximately 7.5". Your best bet is to have the combined height of your box spring and mattress around 20 inches (or more if possible).

Takes forever to get delivered and I had this bed originally in the same color in a queen and loved it so much I had to find it for my king. It’s more of a gray-beige/ cream than the light gray which is a disappointment since I wanted gray

This is a gorgeous bed. It took a little over two months to receive, but it was well worth the wait. The frame is very high quality and the color is just beautiful. Took about an hour or so to assemble with two people. Highly recommend!

I ordered the blush velvet in full size and it's a lighter pink in person (think of a pale pink/dusty light pink) but I was honestly hoping for that anyway so I'm really in love with it ♡ !!! Like other reviewers have stated, you will be needing a foundation. I ordered a low foundation (5 inches) and a large mattress (14.25 inches) and found that it just reached the headboard so be sure to buy the proper combo so that the mattress can reach your desired height. My only issue was that the front panel was too short so it's a bit off which is unfortunate but my duvet hides it so it's not the biggest deal. For the price, this bed is totally worth it and it always receives a lot of compliments!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed!!! We had a platform sleigh bed before that sat way too high with our box spring so being able to get into a "normal" bed is the best thing ever. The quality of this bed is really impressive to us. We love the velvet material and the padding is plenty comfortable to lean against. Assembly wasn't too hard but I put together all of our furniture so I'm used to assembly instructions. Now, I will say that we bought this during a 40% sale so we got it for around $550 so I'm not sure how a person would feel if they spent $900+ maybe they'd be more nit-picky. We absolutely love the bed!

Love this bed! My brother was able to put it together with "advanced" tools in less than an hour so I would recommend at least an electric drill and ratchet set if you have these. One thing to note - you WILL NEED A BOXSPRING. There are only three bars at the bottom so you will definitely not be able to put your mattress directly on the bed, especially because the bottom of the headboard does not come down very far. I would recommend at a minimum, an 8-inch box spring if you have a ~10" mattress. Wish I had known what size to get before ordering this as we have been waiting for over a week for our boxspring to get here, unable to sleep on it. Grey color is a lighter grey which is actually pretty hard to find - they are mostly a darker charcoal look so I was very pleased when I found this. Velvet looks very luxurious and a lot more expensive than what we paid. Will post photos later.

I really love the bed - it looks fantastic! Quality is not awesome but I wouldn't expect that for the price. It was HORRIBLE to put together so just be prepared for that!!!

We were so excited for this to come to our door step. When it did we were not dissapointed! It is so soft. The color is great. Looks amazing for the price. It isn't snug around the frame but I find this a plus so the bedspread can drop down into it a touch. It is just absolutely perfect! Thank you!

This bed is BEAUTIFUL. The navy blue is rich and deep and the velvet fabric is soft and luxurious. It took about an hour and a half to put together (the calking size) - my husband helped me with most of it but it could be done alone with patience and enough time! Shipping was a nightmare on this - fed ex delivered it by dragging the box through the mud and then leaving it gaping open on my doorstep in the rain. Thankfully, the bed is well packaged and survived the horrible delivery and target was more than helpful in offering to completely replace the bed if it had been damaged in any way. I highly recommend this bed - you can order fabric swatches for all the colors and fabrics and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

Ordered light grey bed, arrived in few weeks with 2 boxes total in different days. We took about 2 hours to put together. Direction was not great at all and quite confusing but the bed was very gorgeous and nice quality soft velvet fabric. All the bolts etc was there and hubby has all the tools to make installation even faster vs using their small free wrench.

We got this bed in Grey in a king size and it's beautiful!FYI, it does require a box spring and with the mattress the height needs to be about 20 inches to fill in the gap! The bed was delivered in two pieces and it took about an hour to put it together!! I'm a happy customer!

I was looking for the perfect upholstered bed and this was it! The price was perfect and the quality is sturdy. It was easy to assemble and will look great in my completed master bedroom. It did come in two separate shipments, but they were only a week apart.

Ahhhh. I love my new bed now that it is finally all together! With a sale and the use of my redcard on top of an additional discount I received for bad parts being sent out, I saved hundreds on this bed. I would have paid full price. This bed elsewhere is much higher priced. This is well made and once I got all the correct fitting parts it was somewhat easy to put it together. I'm a female and I did it myself in a couple of hours. The light grey is very 'light' but pretty. I wanted to darker but stayed away from it after reading reviews that it showed dust, hair, any marks, etc. Be sure to look through all parts and see that they fit together properly. I damaged siderails that wouldn't go into the corner bracket. I spoke with customer service and they told me to call the manufacturer. I spoke with Skyline and they sent the new parts out. It took about 3 days. When they came they were legs to a bench I never ordered?!? Hence the additional 20% off I received. I had to wait another 5 days for the right parts to come. My husband and I actually didn't mind having out mattresses on the floor for a couple of weeks but the overall process was quite a hassle. Now that it's all done I am very happy with the bed.
