Great product so far!

I purchased the Powerlitre after I had two Leatherman Squirt PS4s that both failed in the same way: a plyer arm broke off under heavy load. The Powerlitre appears much more stout, though it is bigger. The plyer design is superior as all the force goes into a thicker part in the rear end of each arm which have been cleverly adapted into wire crimps. I am very satisifed with the Powerlitre, but I do have one gripe: the lack of a file. There are six tools in this design that I will use significantly less than I would use a file. I hope in the future SOG adds a file to the Powerlitre as that would make it the perfect EDC multitool for me.

This is my favorite small everyday carry tool and one I frequently give as a gift. It's very well designed and the corkscrew is genuinely usable with a clever leverage design.

It is very useful. I can tell it is well made. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar product.

Giving 4 mostly for the originality of the product. The quality matched the price point. I would pay more for a better quality, fit and finish. The pliers are excellent for their size. The lack of actual flathead is a problem. The quality of the alloy used for the existing flathead is subpar. It twists during the task it was designed for. The corkscrew and lip were entirely too tight. Maybe They’ll wear in. We’ll see. Otherwise, Great tool with no direct competition to SOG’s benefit.
It’s ok

It’s a little tank but the scissors don’t work (you press once and they get stuck closed) and it’s difficult to get tools out. A bit heavy to carry attached to pocket. It really needs a case for your belt. I like the bit driver holder design.
Mostly Great

Everything seems to be high quality and functioning well, the only complaint is the scissors spring is too strong and its a hard to fully close the scissors when cutting.

Best SOG EDC tool

Really a surprise that SOG made such a great tool for EDC! It is not a micro tool and still fit for everyday carry and the size of each tool has practically the right size to use. Corkscrew of course is the key highlight with a smart lever which definitely work better that those swiss army corkscrew with no lever. Last, but not the least, I like the way it close the plier that I don't need to press the plier nose before collapsing the arm.

Bought this for my wife as she has been needing her own EDC utility tool. She loves the smaller size and tools offered in the PowerLitre, especially the corkscrew.

I retired recently. My job didn't require me to carry a multi-tool, but anybody with experience did, and the bigger the better. You can't always have a tool box nearby, and that multi-tool could save you time. And as we all know, time is money! Anyway, like I said before, I'm retired now and old habits are hard to break. If I'm not carrying a multi-tool it just doesn't feel right. I didn't want to carry that large version in a sheath anymore so I started looking for something smaller. As soon as I held the Powerlitre in my hand I knew it was the one. The first thing l liked about it was the pocket clip. I could just slip it in my pocket and never even notice it until I needed it. It is small, but it's still big enough to grip it if you need to use a little torque. It's extremely well made and has every tool I might use throughout the day...and a corkscrew. I'm not much of a wine drinker but I can tell you, it's as rugged as the rest of the tool so I'm sure I'll find a good use for it.

perfect size! big enough for most tasks and small enough to comfortably fit in a watch pocket. love the cork screw. only wish the knife had a thumb stud to aid one handed opening, the little thumb hole is too tiny. also would love to see this tool in a polished stainless finish

I have had the power lite a few months now and the real abuse has started. The tool is holding up great. Super happy with it, is is smaller than my last sog but still is doing the big jobs. Pocket clip is great Holds a great edge on the blade. the screw driver heads could be bigger. But still work.

We are returning this product as it was extremely difficult to open and use the tools. Very disappointed as this was one of the only pocket tools available that had both pliers and a corkscrew. Essential items.

I bought this a few weeks back and now have had time to explore and use this product. Being of a smaller size than many other multi-tools, it's a very good model to have at hand. As in other SOG products, it is well made and of high quality. I did write to SOG to inquire about a belt carrier for this, but was told that there is none for this model. My hope would be that SOG considers offering a carrier to make it convenient to on one's belt, as even at this small size the multi-tool is still too large for me to comfortably carry in a pocket (despite having a metal loop for a ring such that I could carry this via a belt lanyard clip, much as I do with my trusty Swiss army knife, which I've longed carried in a back pocket and can reach back easily and disengage it with one hand). I'll thus likely buy a generic holster of some kind.
Almost the best multitool

This multitool is great and is almost the best multitool but it have a big lack. If Sog designers would not have forgotten to put a flat screwdriver then this multitool would be the best one ever, if I have it in my belt and I need to open a paint can... then this multitool becomes useless, there is no tool to generate a lever force on anything and also there is no way to remove a flat screw with this. I really dont understand why it have awl and jewerly screwdriver but dont have a good solid flat screwdriver to also be used as a small crowbar... Its a big lack, if you modify the design to have the flat screwdriver this will be the best multitool of all brands.

Bought the Power Litre to fill the gap between full size tools and mini keyring tools. This is a superb multitool. It is well thought out, solid and the pliers as usual are the best around. Fits in your fifth pocket on your jeans or on your belt and you don't know it's there till you need it. Everything works and it feels strong. Perfect size for everyday carry and still totally useable when you need a multi tool. Don't let the size fool you this is a serious tool. I use mine around the house and yard and it goes with me fishing and shooting. The compound pliers will even cut through a size 6 treble hook shank without making you sweat.
