I bought this product a week ago and after switching off the power for the first time to move it to a new stand it will not now power back on. Led flashes red 3 times but nothing else. Factory reset ineffective.

Bought this tv around 6 months ago and still cannot connect sony soundbar correctly change channel on the tv and the soundbar goes dead and tv keeps going to tv speakers which to me are not impressive. Read a lot of reviews about this tv and most seem to praise this tv just cannot see why its very difficult to set up . Poor quality picture if not hd .have tried all way to connect sony soundbar optical,Bluetooth, hdmi with no success . would recommend looking for a different tv manufacturer. We shall not be purchasing any sony products in the future very disappointed.

Initially worked for a week then started to go black with Sony logo clicking on and off. The instruction sheet is minimal lacking a good diagram where the power button is located and had to go to u tube to figure anything out, needs a simpler booklet with exact location diagnosing problems that comes with the tv

Unit Randomly Restarts

In the first two months of ownership the Bravia 8 would intermittently reboot in several sequences. I went to Reddit and other forums to try to troubleshoot it. There was an update on November 17th 2024 that stated it would address a bug with an external inputs causing it to reboot. 3 days later, issue persisted and so I attempted to isolate and triage once again. Removed all inputs, used another outlet on a different circuit, and restored the unit to factory settings. During the reset it rebooted 3 times. After the reset it just keeps rebooting.

The picture remains too dark to see whole image. Have to see if it can be adjusted. I have only bought sony tv. My 10 year old Sony has a better picture. Lets hope its just an adjustment.

The tv randomly freezes and resets, sometimes I have to unplug the power cord to bring the picture back, I don’t have anything loaded on this tv and I don’t use the apps. I factory reset the tv but this still continues.
