Had this TV a few weeks now, it was to replace our ancient Plasma . What I would give to get my old tv back. How on earth people rave over this tv is beyond me. Switching between channels takes ages. Sony are relying on using an App to watch everything , but if you just plug an ariel in and watch ordinary tv your in for a world of pain.

Bought approx 2 weeks ago, Excelent picture and sound. Rear side cable cover could be desigend a bit better and not just a bit of plastic , This is my 3rd Bravia , Would be better if they made there own softrware and got rid of this google stuff, Also only has 2 USB,s 4 would have been better. Simple remote makes life easier.. Decent manual would have been much better than the piece of paper with print so small one can hardly see it , Not interested in online documents,

Disappointed with the Freesat system on this TV. It does not give a complete Programme Guide! Makes it pointless to record programmes in the future. I was hoping to remove my set top box with this feature!

Has a Fabulous picture, build quality is excellent, Audio pretty good but easily improved with an external amp etc. Disappointed with the quality of remote control compared with my last Sony TV. Also disappointed with the google TV interface. Note factory reset doesn’t remove google TV. The remote buttons don’t always take you where you expect. I preferred the simple interface on my last Sony TV from 2008 (sadly it’s tuner packed in). TV has a UK specification, why can’t it have a proper decent quality specific UK English A5 manual. Also there is nothing smart about a smart TV, I don’t want to watch any of the top picks for me.

I have not had this TV very long, but already think it is the best I have ever had. It has a great picture no matter which angle you are viewing from. It also has a fantastic audio option that allows direct bluetooth connection to my hearing aids while allowing the built in sound to be controlled by the remote! THe only TV I have found that does this.

My hubby got me tins amazing wall mounted Sony tv. I had a smaller older Sony Bravia and was content with that......I never knew I really would be thrilled with this new Bravia 8. I am 79 years old and watch late night tv when I can't sleep and this enhances the viewing. The picture is so clear and crisp and the color is amazing. Never thought I needed this.

Excellent picture at 4K, picture is haizy at lower pixels, especially ads and promotions. the original factory setting were not good, It took a while to adjust picture colors quality and external speakers. Picture looks much better after a week viewing. In general an excellent product
