Sony WH-1000XM4 Noise Canceling Overhead Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

I recently purchased the Sony WH-1000XM4, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. 100% satisfied! Never expected to be soo good, despite been released years ago...

My daughter recommended this make and brand as she has a set herself. My reason for investing is I need quiet in which to sleep next to my husband who snores. Although I've discovered I need a more concentrated noise cancellation at times, on the whole, this set has my sleep times covered. I love the ambient feature, too, if I am listening to a podcast and want to also listen out for the doorbell. These headphones sit very comfortably on my head. Sleeping with them is what you might expect if you do not sleep solely on your back - they're a bit lumpy! I also found the 2 small buttons on bottom left of the headset is a bit fiddly to use in the night. I assume that my sleeping with the headset on might otherwise inadvertently push the button which would be even more disrupting to my sleep, so not sure if a slightly larger button with a sliding cover opening from the top down over the button might work? I loved the choice of turning on Bluetooth and the ability to hardwire when preferred. I only gave 4 stars because of having to sleep only on my back with them, the fiddly small buttons when used during sleep and that I can still be woken by hearing occasional and excessive loud snoring but I believe that is not the issue of this set of headphones, rather, I needed to purchase a model with greater noise cancellation. Overall, I am really very pleased with my purchase of WH-1000XM4 wireless noise cancelling headphones

really great headphones I can go for a long time wearing them without them feeling uncomfortable.

Only been using these for a week or so. Upgraded from a pair of wh-720. These are definitely a big step up both in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling. The ability to control the settings through the mobile app is also a bonus. The touch controls are possibly a bit of a gimmick, but do work well. Having said that, the ability to mute the volume and boost the ambient sound by putting a hand over the earcup does work really well and is a feature that I genuinely use. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these headphones, especially as they can now be purchased far cheaper than they were a year or two ago.

Have been using these headphones and happy with the noise cancellation. They are comfortable for a 4 hour flight. Not quite sure about using the ambient sound and the finger tap doesn't always work for me.

I bought a month ago and the overall quality is amazing.

Replaced a pair of Bose quiet comfort which had started to power up on its own. Complained to Bose who weren't interested. These are much better and you can connect two devices at same time allowing you to check batery and change levels on one device while listening on the other.

I have been strictly an airpod user but I definitely had a huge upgrade getting these. They have so many cool features and really exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of headphones.

Won’t charge as confirmed with JB HiFi yet told to go to Sony for warranty, who tell me to go to JB HiFi. Meanwhile, as they argue, I’m left with a set of headphones which don’t work.

I’ve had these headphones for two years and they’re top notch quality. Perfect for noise cancellation on the plane and it has ambivent sound when you want to be attentive outside while still playing your music. Feels like I have my own concert whenever I wear them

Got this few weeks ago and it sounds amazingnly different with everyday use.

Excellent sound quality, options and noise cancelling. A very good product but does feel a bit flimsy and is already a bit loose after limited usage.

I love the noise-cancelling feature. My previous pair didn't cut out all the noise. So it's nice to just hear the crisp sounds of the track sans the outside noise.

I do love this headphones, comfortable and good sound quality. Apparently when I make a call though the person I am talking too said it is not of great quality but I can hear good so I think it is worth a mention.
