Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. I bought a product warranty for the first time ever for a Keurig coffee maker. The coffee maker broke after a year, and I started the warranty process. I started in early August and it has still not been resolved. I have sent 7 emails, talked to representatives 5 times, and they are not even going to substitute the coffee maker for the same one I originally bought. the ones that they will cover are half the price and quality of the original Keurig I purchased and bought the warranty for. I am beyond frustrated and will never purchase a warranty from Target or Allstate again. I have spent 4 to 5 hours trying to resolve this issue, which still, 2 months later is not resolved. NOT worth the money or time I spent.

Do not buy. I tried filing a claim and was unsuccessful. Essentially you have no protection from this plan until after the manufacturer warranty ends so don’t plan on getting any help within the first calendar year. I purchased a phone case 3 weeks ago that is defective but I can’t file a claim and the return period is over so I’m out $70 until a year from now if I even get help at that point.

I returned my air purifier because it was missing a part. On the target app, it said that “upon receipt of the item, a replacement would be shipped”. I have not received a replacement and it’s been several weeks. The target app no longer shows the status of return.

I returned the item but it is impossible to get a refund for this protection plan. The store says go to the protection plan provider but the provider says go to the store where protection plan was purchased. Advice don’t but a protection plan from Target unless you are absolutely positive you want the electronic device or just expect to lose money in return

This does not cover accidental damage to an item. I purchased it to cover a toddler’s toy understanding that damage could happen. When I filed the claim, they denied it saying they don’t cover accidents. Target should disclose that or Allstate is selling a fraudulent product.

Decided to purchase extra protection on a kitchen appliance that I had recently purchased, even though I thought the $8.00 was a bit much for only 2 yrs. When I received my protection plan via email, there's so many pages and very hard to understand! If only AllState made the plan easier to read and follow along...

Very disappointed. I bought this in advance and when i went to pick up they said they were sold out. What’s the point of buying in advance if they don’t hold the item for you when you place It. Now they won’t give me a refund for the “coverage” i bought and i didn’t even get the item i bought coverage for. Please fix this.
