Lid doesn't lock
I bought usdd it a few times and now the clside clip doesnt hold.

Balance between functionality and convenience.
It's very useful for me, especially for taking lunches to work due to its size and portability, good capacity, it's perfect for storing food in the refrigerator and leftovers, it is airtight, there is no risk of spillage since its seal is safe, the material It is microwave safe.

Perfect for meal prep!!

Great product!
I have been using the Ultra Seal 3.1 cup food storage for several years and find them to be the best food storage item on the market. They deliver on every advertised point. They are spill proof when properly closed, they freeze well, they do not leak when tipped, this size is perfect for lunch or dinner make aheads, perfect size for left-overs, are dishwasher safe and the list goes on. The ones I have are at least 7 years old. The only negative thing I can say is that they do stain and the insides do become scuffed and marked. They however, do not warp and the seals are still going strong with top shelf cleaning in dishwasher.

Worst for lids locking closed.
Purchase 2 different sizes. Seems like the latches wear out after a few uses. Got the perfect size to fit in my lunch box. I usually don't do these types of reviews but your product should work. Will not be buying the other sizes I was looking at for home use. Was trying to send pictures but it won't me.

Bad Locking Tabs
They looked like the latches would stay locked. We bought 2, and 1 worked for maybe a month. So my husband wanted to replace the broken 1, and bought 1 to replace it. With-in a month 1 broke again. Said that was the worst latching handles he's ever seen. They don't stay locked for than a month because 1 of the long handles breaks ends up breaking. So what ever you put into the container leaks out.

Was hopeful
Unfortunately, the side snaps continue to come undone. They are not secure. One container worked, another kept coming unsnapped so I couldn’t trust either.

Not as good as the older design.
I have a bunch of the older design without the vent which I love. The vent on the new design is just a simple pop open friction fit tab. I would not trust it with liquids, soups, etc. Any build up of pressure could cause the vent seal to leak or the tab could snag on something in my bag and pop open resulting in a mess. The tabs also do not snap down as securely. I will not be buying any more of these.

I loved mine...
I bought a whole box of bowls (twice) the second set didn't have any of the vent plugs but I didn't think anything of it cause I had the first set. But now my bowls keep disappearing, I have teenagers and a husband that tends to forget where they left things so now my problem is I have bowls but no vent plugs so I was looking on the site and found out there isn't a way to buy replacements so I either have to buy more or replace them with something else..

Best food storage solution
We use several different size Sterilite food storage containers, for lunches, leftovers, bulk dry foods like nuts, pipcitn kernels, etc. They really hold up, and show very little wear, even after 100's of dishwasher cycles. What we like most are how easy it is to secure the tops, and the color coded tops and bottoms. Of all the different brands we've tried, Sterilite stands above the pack.

lunchbox friendly
This container is a great size for sandwiches packed on Italian bread which is wider then regular bread. it is also great for leftovers packed in the lunch box. It has a tight seal as well as ventilation for the microwave and it is easy for the kids to open. I am using containers I bought 2 or 3 years ago and after daily use and dishwasher the flaps on the lid are beginning to break off, but they have been used hard. I will replace the containers with the same style for this school year.

LEFTOVERS SAVES MONEY
I know most of us don't like leftovers but with the cost of food, gas, and everything in between costing more and more...leftovers and coupons are a must. These small 3.1cup ultraseals are WONDERFUL. You don't have to open to see the contents, and are very airtight, making the food stay fresh. We have a leftover night every week. GREAT BUY and durable, especially when they are on sale too. Can't go wrong here.

they r awesome for me since they hold in the freshness and everything but im able to open it up easy. i had a stroke i have only 1 hand to use. some other companies the containers r suppose to be easy to open. no way they r horrible. these r the best going. i love the color coded too

Positive seal----air tight, watertight and look great.
I have 5 or 6 ultra-seal containers, but the one I appreciate the most is the 3.1cup Ultra-Seal I use to store my Diabetic supplies. The container is most always used in the refrigerator, but when I travel, I use it in an Ice chest, and never need to worry about my supplies getting wet from leakage or accidently opening and my supplies spilling ic into ice and water.
