T-Fal Simply Cook Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Lid

This has become our favorite pot to use since we bought it a month ago. It’s easy to clean and has held up well. The smaller size is perfect for an apartment kitchen without much storage space.

This is a horrible pot. The first time I washed it, I thought I did a bad job because when I was drying it with a white cotton dish towel, the towel was turning gray in many spots. So, I washed it again and the same happened. The third time I washed it, I dried it with paper towels and the same happened. This pot is toxic and it will make you sick. No other pot leaves my white towels gray. This pot leeches into the food. Also, the handles are not silicone. They are a hard, brittle plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pot so much more than I thought I would. The insulated handle is exceptional. I also like that there is an insulated knob for lifting the lid. The measuring lines on the inside are a nice touch. Cooks well and easy to clean.

I wanted to make the switch from non-stick pans but not if it makes it difficult to clean. I have an electric stove top also, and the distribution of heat isn't even. I did like the color of grips and are very nice and sturdy pans.

This pan has become a staple in my kitchen and I hope it lasts for years to come. It was very easy to clean as well. I personally have a gas stove and this worked well on it.

Cleaning is easy unless you burn stuff. The handle offers a great grip and the size makes it easy to hold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot heavier and more sturdy than I expected. Even the glass lid is heavier than most other glass lids I have. Cooks meals very well and easy to clean. The plastic handles make it easy to maneuver and open the glass lid when needed. Would purchase additional pots from this line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So they look pretty when you first get them but they do not stay that way. Even after trying to revive them using Bar Keepers Friend. They just don’t clean as well as my other stainless steel pans do. The handles are sturdy and the heat distribution is fair but even cooking some of my regular dishes on medium low to medium heat, it burnt up more than usual. If you want to cook with stainless steel, I recommend to spurge on All-Clad. The price is great but the value is not. I think you can find better options out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great pans especially for the price point. They don’t stick and they heat evenly. If you are in the market for a couple pans, I would definitely recommend these as a budget friendly option!

When you are boiling water -- like for pasta -- the handles get far too hot. So, this makes it hard to work with tha pan if you cook the pasta, then make a sauce to put the cooked pasta back in. T-Fal is an excellent brand, as I and my family have used T-Fal for decades, but my Macy's Stainless Steel, Tools of the Trade set was a much better value and the handles didn't get hot. I don't know if T-Fal will ever address this. However, I am a professional Cook and Kitchen Manager, and it is my opinion that T-Fal should not be manufacturing stock pans, typically used for hot stocks, soups and boiling water for pastas where the handles stay that hot. The temp of the handles stays extraordinarily hot well after you pull the pan off a hot burner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fantastic and I am so excited to have stainless steel! . The handle has a good grip to it. We made eggs and they didn’t stick like I thought they would. You do have to oil or butter the pan up good though first. Love these!
