A: The compressor will shut off once the desired temperature is reached and restart as necessary. Meanwhile, the fan will continue to run to circulate air throughout the room. Alternatively, you can switch the unit to ECO mode, where the fan only operates when the compressor is running. It even connects to an app and you can control it from anywhere. Only downside is it is a bit on the louder side but the sound is about equivalent to a box fan.

I purchased my unit early March to get the sale and not miss having a unit during this summers heat. I did not install my until a few days ago. My tiny NYC apartment feels like an over in the summers. I’m sure the sq. feet is not more than 200. When I turned this baby on for the first time it was AMAZINGGGGGG the air is so cool and relaxing and the best part is because my apartment is so small it serves as central air LOL. I’ve read reviews saying that it stopped working after a month so I’m hoping that’s not the case for mines.

We bought one out of necessity and it was on sale and then purchased a second this year as it works so well. We have high ceilings and an old house. It keeps our bedroom at 62 at night. The other is in our kitchen and keeps up even with the oven on.

The unit is mechanically great. It’s strong, quiet and does a great job doing what it’s intended to do. That, however, is offset by the cheap and subpar electronics that makes it possible. The controller board corrodes constantly and stops the unit from functioning properly. The buttons don’t work or they’re stuck in a perpetual cycle. It’s inexcusable to have this kind of issue with a product like this.

This thing is a BEAST! I went from a 5k to 10k BTU AC and I don’t sweat in my sleep anymore. Don’t listen to the bad reviews this thing works if not defective by manufacturer!

Compared to my old AC this one is slightly less noisy but at a reasonable level. I have two bedroom and it has a strong airflow to go around and cool my whole apartment. I love the eco button to help with the energy Efficiency and overall I’d highly recommend this AC unit for small apartments

It’s louder than my living room ac or fans. Also makes a cracking sound from inside and has a strange smell on. Even on lowest fan setting and speed still too loud.

I am so glad I was able to try this because I needed a good air conditioner for a while now, and this one fits the picture. This air conditioner works really well. It comes with a remote control so you can control it from anywhere in the room which is real convenient. You can either use this just the regular way or using the sleep mode, the eco mode or the 24-hour timer. This TCL Window Air Conditioner really cooled off my downstairs in no time at all. I don't have any complaints when it comes to this air conditioner, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a new air conditioner and who wants to cool a room down in no time.

It isn't extremely heavy and bulky, which made it easier to install in my window. It comes with a nice remote control. For even more convenience, I hooked it up to my Amazon Alexa. I'm extremely happy with this product. It cools almost my entire downstairs, and rather quickly, too! (With the help of our ceiling fans to help distribute the cool air.) It's also pretty quiet. I would absolutely recommend this air conditioner to anyone who is looking for a smart cooling unit.

It provides an incredible amount of cool in a very short time. Powerful fan. A little noisy but not uncomfortably so. Really pleased with it.
