Q: In the user manual, I see instructions on how to set the timer, but no mention of how to manually set a humidity level. How do I do this?

A: Power on the unit by selecting the On/Off button on the control panel. After a few seconds press the Up (Increase) or Down (Decrease) buttons to set the target relative humidity level. The bucket keeps beeping and saying it is full. This happens 2 to 4 times a day. The bucket is completely empty because the unit is on a continuous drain hose. Customer Service does not seem to want do anything about this eventhough it’s covered under the warranty. I keep going in circles with them, like they are trying to not understand the issue. I would not buy this item again.

At first I placed this in my basement because well, that is the most humid area in my house and it took about 2 days to fill the tank. There is also an option to run tubing directly into a drain but I wanted to see how the tank was. The noise level was OK. On low it was great, medium was well, medium and on high it was loud. The unit shuts itself off once the tank is full, which is nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the tank itself. It has a bunch of compartments, for what seems no reason. Pouring out the water should be an easy task but lucky for me, the water poured out of everywhere and onto my hardwood floor. So I dried it up as well as I could and placed the dehumidifier in the room. Other than the noise in high, this machine worked great and it saved my hardwood floors.

Let's me start with how convenient it is because it has wheels and I can easily move it from one room to another. Also it has no noise so very convenient to be used in the bedroom. I have kept it in my open kitchen dining area, and It seems just like a fan. It's working pretty well, and it collects at least half a tank of water in 2 days. As of now I have not connected the hose but emptying water tank is quite easy. I also love how it can be operated with an app.

When i told my mom she broke the news that sometimes she could smell mustiness on my daughters clothing. This was on only 2/3 of the first day and the tank was already full. It was SO easy to empty and put back in. I’m 4 days in and have dumped it once each day! My dryer is even working better. It emits a lot of humidity and now the moisture has somewhere to go. I don’t fully understand the way the numbers work on the control pad. It’s sounds just like a regular fan. I don’t have to keep it running all the time. I put it by a wall, but the instructions say to have nothing on any of the sides. Oh! And it’s on wheels! You can easily roll it. It says to clean it monthly and I think that’s a really solid idea. I feel so blessed to have this large dehumidifier in my life now.

It worked pretty good for about 10 months. It’s a bit loyd and gives off some heat. I’m not sure about the energy demand because when in use I was limited with kitchen appliances or my fuse would flip in the fuse box. I’m now searching for a new one. Also, clean it well. It will mold as most things do. It was difficult to reach throughout to clean. It did help with humidity when working

One machine worked for two weeks. Went to return and without the box. Unable to return because box was thrown because it had a foam bottom and fell apart but on their return policy it never states return in box. Told them to put it in the trash bin. I will not pay freight to return it to the manufacturer. Not a very good policy and the company should let customers know this up front.

Bought this in store. Worked great until it didn’t. Stopped working properly after about 2 months. After regular cleanings and attempting a reset…the fan ran, but no water collected any more. Spoke with the mfgr company’s customer service. They gave instructions that should have reset based on the error code, it but didn’t. If the reset didn’t work they said it needed to be serviced. At almost $300 I would expect it to last longer without trouble. Returned to target without much issue. Hoping to find a new dehumidifier that has no smart technology.

Excellent dehumidifier. This unit is much quieter than my previous GE dehumidifier of a similar size - the previous one rattled terribly while this one just sounds like a fan. It’s also way more effective than previous models I’ve tried. It’s able to reach the target I set it to relatively quickly and is very easy to use.
