Q: Does the blades stay on the cup when ur drinking it, or do they come off and a new base is put on that doesn’t have blades.

A: Great question!
The blade does not stay on the Blending Vessel while you’re drinking. Once you’re done blending, you’ll simply twist off the blade and swap it for a Drinking Lid - so there are no exposed blades while you enjoy your blend.

Q: Do you have to take the vessel off and flip it upside down to open and add more ingredients? Or can you leave it on the base and open without flipping?

A: To add ingredients, you'll need to stop the blending cycle and remove the assembled vessel and blade from the base first.
How to add more ingredients to your blend:
1. Stop the blending cycle and wait for the blades to fully stop.
2. Twist the blade and vessel off the base.
3. Flip it upright, unscrew the blade, and add ingredients (don’t exceed the max fill line).
4. Reattach the blade securely, flip, and lock back onto the base to continue blending.

A: You can absolutely whip up hummus in the Beast - we just recommend using one of the smaller vessels and adding a small amount of liquid (water/oil) to get started. Pulse, add more liquid if needed, and continue blending until you reach your desired texture and consistency.

Great high-powered little blender.
This is a terrific blender for the value. Used to using a Vitamix, this little Beast really gets the job done on my favorite greens & frozen berry smoothies. I love the Mist color and the variety of jar sizes. I took off one star because the inside of the jars is not smooth, making them challenging to hand wash, especially the larger one as I cannot fit my hand far enough inside of it to really scrub it. For the next generation model, please consider making the inside of the jars smooth.

Convenient and powerful- works great to have base on countertop for quick, strong blending of smaller volumes. Different size containers and various types of lids are helpful. We’ve now removed our larger Vitamix blender base from counter and will only use that for high volume.

Smoothie while baby is sleeping
One of the best purchases I’ve made! I have a newborn and my old blender didn’t allow me to make my morning smoothie because it was too loud and took too long, but with this BEAST blender being so quick and quieter my baby slept right through it!

i got my beast mighty to assist with a health journey ahead of some pretty daunting dental surgery. it's been fun experimenting and the unit is super easy to operate. it does a great job of mixing up my smoothies. happy i purchased the beast mighty!

Great blender but not good for travel
I'm shocked in today's on-the-go environment this brand- with all of the various sized containers- didn't think we'd want to take it on the go. The containers are way to big for a car cup holder. I almost bought the water bottle but I'm glad I didn't.

Perfect Smoothies Every Time
Love this blender for making my morning smoothies. It's so easy to clean and makes a great blender. It's the perfect size for one. Because of all this, I have been having delicious smoothies every morning for breakfast, since it was delivered. Before I would only have them occasionally because i hated pulling out my Vitamix blender and washing it when i was done.

Horribly loud
