Do I need to fluff the pillow?
Yes, it's best to fluff your pillow often (daily, if possible) to keep it looking and feeling fresh. Our pillow's fill is specifically designed so that it can be revived and returned to its original puffiness with just a quick fluff.
What's the best pillow for my sleep position?
Casper's research shows nearly everyone shifts around during the night, so they designed a single pillow that could accommodate all sleep positions. Whether you like to sleep on your side, back, or stomach, you'll feel supported by the Casper pillow.
What is a gusset and why does the Casper pillow have one?
A gusset is an extra piece of material that helps expand and give structure to a pillow. Since the filling has more space to move around, the pillow feels consistently comfortable throughout the night.
How do you care for your Casper pillow?
Cleaning the Casper pillow is easy; start by unzipping the outer pillow and remove the inner pillow and zipping the outer pillow back up. Then place both parts in the washing machine, and use cold water and a mild liquid detergent on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry low.

Q: Is the pillow washable and dryable in a washer and dryer?
A: Absolutely - we designed the Casper Pillow to be both machine washable and dryable! Just unzip the two layers, toss them into the wash with a little detergent, and run the wash cycle on gentle. Once complete, toss the two components and a dryer ball into the wash on delicate and you should be all set to snooze in no time!

I have struggled for years trying to find a pillow that I could sleep on comfortably. They were either too flat or too hard and full. I resorted to sleeping with a "horseshoe" pillow that I made myself. However, when I found the Casper pillow, the horseshoe pillow found the trash!

Q: Hello! We are finding this pillow to be a bit too "tall" for a comfortable sleep (head is at too much of an angle), can in the inner portion be removed to make the pillow smaller? or any other suggestions?
A: If you have the original pillow, use the inner pillow alone. I have found this works best for me.

We have found that some customers' heads initially slipped off the pillow because they were accustomed to sleeping at the edge of their previous pillow. Upon adjusting one's sleeping position on it so that one's whole head, neck, and the tops of the shoulders rest on the pillow, many felt much more comfortable. We recommend adjusting your position on the pillow!

Q: The Original pillow. So this isn’t a pillow in a pillow, but a firm pillow, then a down like one on top? So, there is a top side, bottom, asymmetrical? One uses only the top, on the smaller pillow?
A: The Original pillow is a down-alternative pillow that is soft, but also supportive. The inner core of the pillow provides ideal firmness while the outer pillow adds a touch of fluff for that ultra cozy feeling.

A: The support and feel will be the same with both pillows. One of the main differences is the Original pillow can be washed while the Essential cannot.
