This is favorite niacinamide product! I only use it at night as the serum is a bit thick for day use. It helps minimize my acne (when I get them) and also brighten dark spots including acne scars! The price point is too good to pass. I hope they don’t ever increase the price. I always stock up on this product!

No matter if I put on a water based serum before applying this or not, this product tends to invite tiny breakouts all throughout my face. I'm not sure how to counter this, but it's not been used much since my purchase.

Bought this with the hopes of reducing pore size and texture, since this formula is supposed to decrease sebum production. After 2 months of consistent daily use, I’ve noticed zero difference. The product feels nice to apply, but for me, it’s not worth continuing to use.

I was surprised, I didn't think I would have any adverse reactions from.niacinamide as I usually took it to be a benevolent ingredient. I slowly integrated the product in my cheek area but it always made me feel tight and the area slightly red. I will not continue to use as my skin is generally good, I just have some large pores in my cheeks and thought this might help.

I accidentally got a tiny drop on my lip and my lip instantly puffed out. It was like that for 3 DAYS! I thought the bottle last about 2 months but it lasted about 1 month. Do not waste your money on this.

I've bought this product many times and will always make sure I have plenty of it! I use it once every two weeks. I use Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream about every other day. I have found the acid really gives me the upper hand to keep my exfoliation routine where I want it. I want to exfoliate every day morning and night, but that's not the way to go! Anyway...........I love lovelove it and recommend it to anyone that would like a super smooth face to apply Make up in the morning and other products for night. Good Luck!!!

A little goes a long way. I would recommend a pea size amount directly onto the forehead and distribute from there. Beware of under the nose and around the eyes. It can dry the skin out fairly easy under the nose and irritate the eyes. I would start out by using this 3 times a week to incorporate it into your routine then after 2 weeks I would say you could use it everyday. If you start experiencing extreme dryness, peeling, irritation I would discontinue use. As far as break outs, it is normal for skincare to help purge what's under the skin. If it's an excessive amount of acne, discontinue.

I ordered this product because other reviews said it helps with oil control, however every time I use it my face pours oil. My skin is not very oily to begin with, just a little shine throughout the day but this makes it severely worse from the moment I put it on. I'm not sure how it will help other skin issues because I've only been using it for a week so far but I am not very happy with the amount of oil my skin is producing so I may discontinue this product.

I just turned 50 and I've been using this a while and then ran out. My moisturizer claims to have niacinamide, so I did replace my bottle right away. I also was in the middle of testing a new sunscreen. Anyway, I began getting clogged/ enlarged pores. I thought it was the sunscreen. But, I had just turned 50 and wanted my free ulta gift, so i went into the store and also decided to restart my Ordinary Niacinamide. 2 days into restarting the niacinamide, my skin got smoother, my pores looked smaller, my wrinkle areas are faded. Particularly the wrinkles between the eyes and on the forehead, where my pores were getting bad. The niacinamide helped reduce the pores, which smoothed the look of the wrinkles. You do need to be careful. 1 drop mixed in with my moisturizer is all I need. To much will cause dryness. (but not using it also caused a different kind of dryness) And there maybe a purge period (but it was not major for me and I have SUPER SENSITIVE skin). Just remember a little goes a long way. Don't just slap it on your skin alone
