Q: Since it’ll use Bluetooth in range or the Tile Mate network I don’t need to be in a certain range for the app to still locate the beacon even if, let’s say, 15 miles?

    Not worth the privacy violations

    I have an Apple AirTag and bought this for my husband because he's an Android user. In order to use these, you have to install the Life 360 app, which tells you that it needs location tracking on at all times with background refresh. In addition to this draining the battery on your phone when you're not trying to locate the tracker, they also note that they sell your location data to 3rd parties. If you turn off these settings in order to just be able to track the Tile yourself, numerous warnings pop up every time that you try to use the app. I really regret this purchase and wish I'd done more research to try to find an AirTag equivalent that isn't a massive privacy violator like this product.

    My homest opinion

    Im going to be honest because I alway check the negative reviews hence why ima put it here because I’ve been having a tile for my keys and my tile mate has been fine it’s been working for multiple months now and I do landscaping (they have my earbuds on them so I always have them on me) but the wallet one broke but it’s because I slept with it in my pocket and thing i broke the button but tracking works and to be honest at least in my case I always loose my wallet or keys somewhere near me and if it ain’t near me it shows the last time it pinged I just go and it beeps when I’m close so yeah better than AirPods tracking in my opinion I got them from a jlab ad and I got it from the actual online store so yeah but I love it ima get one for my mom like live tracking no but if you tend to lose things in general it really reliable I love my key one. I recently got Beats Studio buds and since it has Apple tracking super easy to lose one ear bud since it only rings if the Bluetooth is connected which is horrible and the noise isn’t that loud but both Apple and tile combined are good idk how to explain but hope this helps sorry for typing a lot

    Not worth it.

    Battery died

    I bought it June 30, battery dead August 10. How convenient for the 30 day return window. Not impressed 😕 I also didn't like the constant notifications from the 360 app. yes I know I'm driving, stop selling that to insurance companies.

    Dont buy. A waste of money

    I liked it at first because it has a double-click function to find your phone. But when it comes to finding a missing item, it doesn't update the location UNLESS it's nearby or within the Tile Network—and there are none in my neighborhood. Total waste of money.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have loved having this tile on my keys! i keep my keys and wallet clipped together and i added the tile tracker to my key ring and it has been an absolute lifesaver for when i can’t find my keys, especially if i am in a hurry! i can just go into my app and have the tile ring so i can find them. i also love that it connects to my life360 circles and can be used as an SOS button in case of emergencies. i am a girl in college and its very comforting knowing that if anything were to happen i can triple click my tile and let my parents and friends know that something is wrong. i highly recommend if you are someone who misplaces their keys a lot, parents to use with their kids in case of emergencies, or anyone looking to just have an extra safety precaution in place with their family or friends!!
