Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner softens, freshens, and protects your clothes from stretching, fading, and fuzz-leaving them with a long-lasting Febreze-fresh floral scent you'll want to keep on sniffing. This conditioning fabric softener fights static and reduces more wrinkles than using detergent alone in the wash. Easy to use and compatible with top- and front-loading machines, Downy is the must-have addition to laundry day-so your clothes can always look and feel their best.
I am not sure if it’s a Downy issue or the supplier, but twice now our bottle has contained a thick lumpy mess. This means it was frozen or expired.

We're glad you reached out to us about this, Renee. The product is still safe to use - if you want to remove lumps/thickening, mix a capful of product with 1/2 cup warm water until blended. (This diluted solution cannot be used in a Downy Ball. It should be added via the machine’s dispenser or directly to the rinse water if your machine allows). This will make about 3 medium loads. If this doesn't get your Downy thinned out, please get in touch with us at (800) 688-7638 and we'd be happy to help further.
This product has turned my clothes blue on FOUR separate washes and this product has destroyed multiple articles of my clothing. Once the clothing has turned blue, you cannot get it back to its original coloring. Absolutely terrible product and they will be losing my business.

This is definitely not the experience we'd expect you to have when using Downy and we have some tips that will help with the stain removal. -Dampen the spot with warm/hot water -Rub Ivory Bar Soap on the stain -Rinse off -Rewash the item as normal Please give this a try and then give us a call at (800) 688-7638 to let us know how they worked for you.
This product comes out of the bottle as a gummy mess. Even after one adds water to the dispenser, the Downy tends to clog up the dispensing apparatus. Worst of all, their web site does not allow me to share my complaint with them. Now, I am stuck with 90 fl. oz. of nice smelling goo.

Sometimes if the Fabric Softener is exposed to extreme heat or cold, it may become clumpy. However, this is definitely not the experience that we want to you have. Please give us a call at (800) 688-7638.
