Q: Is it ok to use this with a glycolic acid 7% toner? And if I used this acne medication on other days, would it be over exfoliating? I use this toner and it helps with my comedonal acne, but I need something that is strictly going to clear it.

A: If it is used as a acne spot treatment- meaning you only put it directly on her blemishes and not all over her face, it should be fine! You can always test the product out on her hand first to be extra careful!

All of the reviews say it really help with acne, and at first you have to get used to it and get past the rash, but it is NOT worth the reaction. My entire cheeks are currently red and splotchy, extremely itchy, hot, swollen, and dry/flaky. I didn't even put it on my cheeks!! I put a VERY small amount on my nose and chin. The question people may ask is does it work? It does work a good bit. But does oxy help with headaches? Yes, but the side effects/long term effects aren't worth it. Sane with this product. With a reaction this bad it is not worth using, because I can't even imagine the long term effects of using it. I'm going to find a natural, gentle product. This has been brutal.

Applied very lightly and during the night woke up with my skin itchy and in the morning it was very inflamed, hot to the touch and with lots of tiny bumps everywhere the product was applied. It is now day 3 and and it still won't go away. I literly started crying of how painful my face feels because of this product.

Benzoyl peroxide is the only treatment that works for fungal acne; salicylic acid can’t go deep enough or kill the fungus Malassezia that causes fungal breakouts. I tend to get fungal acne near my hairline, and applying this as a spot treatment to zits in those areas clears them up quickly. I have combination sensitive skin, so this can leave me dry and flaky afterwards if I use it outside of the T zone. It’s similar to retinol uglies, nothing that gentle exfoliation and moisturizing can’t fix. The only drawback to this product is that I’ve bleached spots on my colored towels by washing my hands after applying it.

First time,gave me severe chemical burn. Please use a generous amount of moisturizer, dryness will be transient if moisturized well. Works effectively, has an odor but not very strong, tolerable. Good pricing, please be careful, chemical burns are not something to be dealt with lightly.

Clears my skin incredibly quickly! Loveee this product! If you’re considering buying this versus Clean & Clear’s persa-gel 10, I’d recommend this, as it works a lot better for me. It does have a watery scent. I often times have to wait a little longer for this product to sit in before continuing to the next step of my skincare routine compared to my other products.

My skin is not sensitive but this thing with just one use on which by the way, I applied a very thin layer, caused major irritation! My cheek looked like a tomato the next day! Awful! It went directly to the trash! My poor face!
