Lifesaver for sensitve skin, fragrance allergies, and sebderm
This is one of my what-would-i-do-without-you products. I have stupidly sensitive skin with flares of seborrheic dermatitis and this seems to minimize flares in terms of frequency, duration, and severity! I switched to this shampoo when the Vanicream Z-bar was backordered for like 2 years, and now this is frequently out of stock as well.

Very drying product
Not for natural curly dry hair. This is very drying. Makes your hair feel like straw. My husband tried it too and he did not like it at all as it was drying to him as well. Dermatologist recommend this but I would never recommend this to anyone with dry hair or an issue caused by another shampoo.

This USED to be my shampoo until i spoke to the manufacturer.
I have severe immune allergies & cant use regular shampoo because of benzenes, hidden ingrediens in fragrances, & quats. This has been my shampoo for the past year paying this high price for 8oz but i spoke with the manufacturer & they weren’t very kind in keeping their product available on platforms like here at target where i could afford it & not get ripped off. The company wants a high shipping charge & i felt like i wasnt being treated fairly. Target is the only place where ill buy Vanicream dandruff shampoo for $10-$12 which is all i can afford! It wasnt available conveniently & consistently enough for me to ever buy this product again. I have since switched to a wholesale supply that makes a base i can use. Im done waisting my money on this. 8oz was also never enough. I would have paid $15 for a 24oz bottle but the manufacturer chose inflation & to pull their product to only be available on their site so they could charge high shipping fees. I will no longer be supporting vanicreams ethics. Taking advantage of my desperate need for necessities.

This is the best dandruff shampoo imo. My scalp is so sensitive and I love that this product is fragrance free. I have zero irritation and it’s completely fixed my dandruff issue, it’s 100% gone. I wouldn’t recommend for color treated hair, it’s pretty much wipes out color and toner, and I agree it’s also not hydrating. However I’ve paired this with a heavier redken conditioner to fix the hydration issue and as for the color it is what it is unfortunately. I’d rather get my hair done a few extra times a year than deal with an itchy flakey scalp.

This is the absolute BEST shampoo for dandruff I have ever used. I was having extremely bad dandruff that my scalp burned all day it was causing me so many problems, that I could not even get a good night's rest because my scalp always felt like it was on fire. I tried so many shampoos and was planning to go to a dermatologist. While making an order for their moisturizer (which is an amazing product as well), this shampoo came up as a recommendation, so I thought I might as well try it. Well, boy, am I glad I did. Within the 1st week of using this, the buring on my scalp was almost non-existent. By week 2, the burning was completely gone, and my dandruff was under control. 3 months later, there is still no burning and no dandruff. I refuse to put any other shampoo on my scalp!
