Q: What is the source of gelatin in Vitamin E softgels?

  • A: Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiry. The gel used in the vitamin E soft gels would be beef. Have a wonderful day!!

I wanted a vitamin E that I could use directly on my skin. This comes out like glue rather than a hydrating oil. I can’t speak for it as a dietary supplement. I should have bought the gel cap I used before.

Many side effects. Worst was a horrible multi day headache. I’m sure the brand quality is fine I just did not need additional vitamin E supplementation. Was most likely having toxicity side effects.

Target, you changed something about this vitamin e and not for the good. I got a bad headache after taking 1 soft gel. I go to my target review family's reviews only to find out this happened to others also. Target we would rather you keep the healthy ingredients and if you have to, charge us a LITTLE extra than compromise the integrity of the vitamin. Sorry but it's true.

Painful around by left temple after only taking 1 softgel. My headache started 10/9/23 shortly after 1 Up&Up Vitamin E 180mg with food. Now 10/12/23 and the headaches are still with me; when I sleep, after waking up, and during the day. It’s very hard to work like this. I have reported this to Customer Service & refund.

Vitamin E was recommended by a specialist to possibly avoid a surgical procedure. I'm grateful it worked out for me, so if your doctor should recommend Vitamin E, give it a try.

Vitamin e has a distinct smell to it. It doesn’t mean it’s “gone bad.” It is more pungent when in big quantities, but less pungent when on it’s own. Vitamin E has MANY ways of helping your body heal/repair itself. It’s not a miracle vitamin, but it can help people feel more like human beings when facing issues with acne, hair loss/thinning, cell repair, fading scars/stretch marks, etc. Please do not write it off as being bad because of its smell.

Thought I would take this to help my dry cuticles (especially from using hand sanitizer!) and WOW! Within a few days/week or so, not only are my hands looking much better (cuticles are healthy again! YAY!), but I noticed that I don't feel ACHEY all over anymore! Read up on Vit E and see that it can also help repair nerve damage. Feeling "spry" again! Double YAY!!

I’ve been popping these open and using the the “gel” directly on my skin for irritated skin (I get redness under my nose that sometimes can get flaky with scabbing at times). I really like it for that! (They do smell as other reviews have stated but are mild individually vs. in the bottle)
