This TV is terrible. It constantly turns itself off. Probably 85% of the time when turning the TV on the screen is just black, you can’t access anything unless you unplug the TV and plug it back in.

Hunk of junk! Started acting up within the first week. Would not turn on, trouble connecting to the internet or going to the home screen. Wouldn't work with the remote, other than the voice feature then that stopped working. Screen would be blank or just play the home screen ads with no sound. We were dependent on using our old fire stick and the Vizio app as a remote. The fire stick worked ok, so it is not our internet connection, it is something with the TV. I reached out to Vizio customer service the first week we had the TV but never heard back. We've had this TV a month and more and more features are disappearing. Now the screen intermittently goes shades of green and pixilated. Tried factory reset, with no improvement. Will try to exchange for a different brand at Target but some stores are touchy about electronics returns. Save yourself the money and headache and leave this one on the store. This will be our first and last Vizio.

About 3 years ago bought the 43" version. Worked great about 2 years, than the past year or two the screen the top started being darker and darker then the rest of the screen. The past 1-2 months had a hard time to turn on the TV. And today 5/25/25 completely stopped to turn on. Not even manually. Bought this to replace my 32 inch Viso TV that's give to my daughter and still working just fine after about 15 years. If the 55" same quality as the 43", than no, do not recommend it. But again for the price of one better quality TV can buy 2 Vizio and that way last longer.

Constant issues. We are past the return window and often on this tv, Netflix will not load and it will say “connection bad” with internet. It’s right by the modem/router. Out other tv and all other devices have no issue with the internet nor Netflix, so it is specific to this tv. Bummed we’re stuck with it. Color is good, but would not buy again.

I like the brilliant colors of the TV. It was a good price for the brand name. Setting it up was a major pain. I shouldn’t have had to download the Vizio app and set up an account to set up my TV—I don’t care how many (useless to me) features the app offers. Lastly, I’m not impressed with the Dolby audio. I know Dolby from working in movie exhibition. This isn’t that at all. My guess: you’re trying to get me to buy an ‘add-on’ soundbar. And ‘would you recommend this product….’ Should have a ‘maybe; not just ‘yes/no’.

We’ve had many issues… first it didn’t connect to the WiFi consistently. We had to unplug it and plug it back in EVERY time we wanted to watch something. It was past the Target return date, so we put up with the annoyance for several months. Now, the screen just went haywire… it’s completely unusable. We’ve only had the TV for 5 months! DO NOT BUY. Vizio customer service made us jump through hoops just to talk to them and we still don’t have an answer. Tried calling, chatting, and texting. All led us to no resolution. So I guess we are out $400+ and need to buy a new one… never buying Vizio again.

We watch antenna TV mostly. Do not have good internet. This 'smart' TV takes too long to open when turning on. And we are having problems with antenna shows giving a blank screen. Would hope to not buy another one of these. Maybe all are like this.

I purchased this TV less than a week ago. I love Vizio TVs, it is definitely my TV of choice . They are great and last a long time. My only issue is the volume increases so much during a commercial. I’ve had several Visio TVs and this is the first time I’ve had this issue.

Purchased this TV and I'm impressed with the picture quality when it's streaming in 4k. Really HD is on par with other TVs in the same price range. Only thing Vizio needs to do is work on their built-in apps and software to download apps. They didn't have my local cable provider's app to download. Got to work on expanding that. But as for the size and picture quality, it's a great TV.
