A: Hello Megaz - No, it is pretty easy to change out the batteries. To insert the batteries, you will need to remove the reservoir, twist the battery door from the left from the locked position to the unlocked, and pull the battery door away from the unit. Q: Worked great for one week, now there is no pressure. Pressure sounds like it would be good when turned on with no water/tip/container, but once everything is connected and I use water, the pressure is completely gone and it sounds like it’s about to die.

A: Hello - You can safely use a small amount of peroxide mixed with a full reservoir of water. Be sure to flush the unit with a reservoir of clear water after each use to flush any residual peroxide out of the water pathway.

Disappointed
Water well is not large enough to clean teeth. Pressure is poor. Very disappointed in it. I have had 4 other Waterpiks. All were the larger sink type. This portable one does not have the same quality due to the previous mentioned issues.

More power please
I have the cordless hand held water pick. Great and simple to use. I recommend an additional higher power setting. Battery does last a couple of weeks before having to recharging. The UBS plug makes it easy to added to my bathroom wall outlet.

Do not buy this
It quit working after 6 months. And when it was working, it really burned through the batteries. Poor design. Lousy product

Batteries go fast
I thought I purchased a rechargeable unit, but it uses 3 AA batteries. I've only used this for a week and the batteries are already fading.

Horrible. Stopped working after 4 months
Worked well at first, then months later strong mode stopped working. It says "one year guarantee" on the box so I called waterpik company since it was passed targets return frame, and they told me to try cleaning it with vinegar, after I had already told them I cleaned it with vinegar before, I was instructed to do it again. Horrible customer service on top of an already poorly made device.

Good Investment with Some Adjustment
I hated how often I had to change the batteries out on this waterpik. I would go through changing batteries every month which is a huge waste. Before I knew it, my waterpik would die out on me just as I would go to use it. I ordered re-chargeable batteries so I no longer have that problem now. Now every month I just recharge the same batteries and it works like new. I love the amount of pressure this gives. It reaches particles that brushing does get out. It does take time to get used to not making a mess of water in the beginning. Your gums may bleed from the pressure also but will subside with regular consistent use (2x a day) Other than the battery issue I had in the beginning, this was a good investment.
