A: Old-timers will tell you that nothing picks up dust like real lamb's wool. For daily maintenance: After each use, shake out dust or gently vacuum the mop head. Washing Instructions (only when very dirty): Remove the mop head from the frame. Fill a sink with cool water and add a few drops of Wool Shop Duster Shampoo or a mild wool-safe soap. Hand wash gently—do not scrub or twist. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Squeeze out excess water (do not wring). Spin dry in a washing machine if desired, but do not use a dryer. Hang to air dry out of direct sunlight. Once dry, comb or fluff the wool to restore its softness and dust-grabbing power. Do not soak in hot water - it can damage the wool. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach. Washing too often can strip the natural lanolin, which helps attract the dust.

I am so pleased with the first mop that I purchased another for our second floor. Floors, walls, ceilings, this mop does it all!! I did decide to purchase the shampoo because proper maintenance matters; I want to clean the mop so that it continues to work well lasts a long time.

Looks like long-lasting quality. I like the real wood handle (vs fake wood with cancar-causing warning labels). The coating on wood near bottom was flaky, :slightly_frowning:, so I rubbed it with a microfiber cloth outside. I didn’t want the flakes to fall indoors. Other than that, no problems. Haven’t used much as husband just bought a roaming circular vacuum. I would recommend this.
