For some reason this is the most expensive game from Hearth and Hand. It was the only one of the four to come without a box around it too. The board game opened and the inside spilled out. I’m glad everything was still there. It looks very nice otherwise.

Terrible chemical smell to this game
This is a beautiful way to make the game, but the smell of chemicals is awful. We've had it for months and the chemical smell never leaves.

STINKY
These are made by WS Games so it matches my existing bookshelf edition games. They are a great addition to any classic board game lover and the book-look is why I got this. The price for these is also more competitive than the games that you can get direclty from WS Games. Warning! This product smells terrible! I hope I can air it out but it has a strong petroleum-like chemical smell.

These games smell.
I bought all 4 game title. I love how these look. And to put all the pieces away so neatly is great. But the smell is overwhelmingly bad. They smell like gasoline. You smell like gasoline after handling the pieces. I’ve aired them out, and they still smell terrible. Who wants a game night where you walk away smelling like a gas pump?!?! Not me. And not for this price.

Such a fun family game!
It takes 10 minutes to read through the directions and understand the game but once you start playing it just clicks and it’s so much fun! My 3 boys loved the challenge of getting each square filled with points! You have a row of challenges, such as getting 4 same numbers on the dice, or a sequence of 1,2,3,4 and you have 3 chances to get there. You can save the dice you want to keep and roll the other ones up to 2 more times. Whoever has the most points at the end is the winner!

Attractive game "books"
I’ve been looking at these games for a while. The price initially held me back but I really like their vintage look of old books. They look nice on the shelf. They are good quality but my main complaint is a very strong chemical smell in all four of the games. I hope the smell will eventually dissipate.
