Expensive Garbage
I’ve used these filters for at least a decade and was very pleased with them, however, since the company was bought by Culligan I’ve noticed these filters are not of the same quality. I would only need to change the filter once every MONTH, now I’m lucky if I get 2 to 2 1/2 WEEKS out of a filter! I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in a product that I used to trust! They are nothing more than very expensive garbage! Don’t waste your money!

I'm done too
These filters only last a couple weeks before water starts to taste fishy. Also lots of carbon particles floating in reservoirs. I am the only one in home. For the price of these filters they should last alot longer!

Adding to what everyone has said
Purchased new pitcher and filters on Oct. 2. Water tasted fine and had no issues. It's Oct. 17 and the water tasted sour. I wished I read the reviews, but it was a sign that I needed to change the filter and the water tester did read 006. There's only two individuals using the pitcher and we are not home for the majority of the day. We used the water primarily for morning coffee/tea and pets water bowl. This is not a sustainable product. I will be searching for a better product after I use up my last filter.

Quality notably declining
I've used these filters for 6-8 years, they used to be so good. But for the past year or so, every time I get them, they last for shorter and shorter time. They discontinued the twist off cap for a soft plastic, which started out ok but they have also gotten worse. The latest batch that I purchased leaves glue and plastic residue all over the top. Just very frustrating, it's pushed me to make the leap to a under-sink filter instead of using these.

Moisture
Like to know why filters I've been buying have moisture inside. They should not have any type of water inside. This deteriorate the filters while in atirage.

Filters dont last as long as old zero water filter
Ever since the new company took over Zero water, the filters do not last as long before needing to be changed. It used to last 2 months before getting to a "6". The newly designed filter shot up to over 100 reading at a month and a half! The built in meter also is faulty. It is constantly wrong and says a brand new filter is bad, while my old zero water meter says its at zero. The meter is easily damaged by water. It has brown residue all inside the battery compartment. Please bring back the old system!!!

Not What it used to be
We have used zero Water Filters for years and one filter usually lasted at least 4 weeks. Im not sure what the company is doing... but they are cutting corners somewhere. Recently... I have to change the filters almost weekly...two weeks at most... and my tap water is at the same levels it has always been when tested. Also the TDS jumps up to way over 350-375 even thought my TAP water measures at 225 TDS using their device. I guess it'stime to lookfor another filtration system.

Water coming out of the filter (even new) tastes acidic, and after a few pitchers, I noticed that it began to give a higher ppm than the tap water. Also, the first pour it was still over the replacement amount of 006 ppm

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. A change in the taste of the water is indicative of a filter that has been used beyond the point of exhaustion. In order to avoid a change in the taste of the water, use the included TDS meter to test the filtered water regularly and change the filter when the meter reads 006 on filtered water.

I purchased these OEM filters knowing they work the best. I love these. I use them for my Utrasonic Humidifier and there is no sediment accumulation in the humidifier. My problem is that the desctiption says under the specifications, "Features: Electronic Filter-Life Indicator." Where is this? there in no battery on the filters and no indicator.

Don't accept substitutes
I know these filters have gone up in price, but when I tried a substitute brand, my water had a distinct taste that was unpleasant, and I noticed the water passed through those filters very quickly. Zero Water is great tasting and still cheaper than the delivered water I used to get.

Poor sealing
I started using Zero Water filter a couple of years ago, and noted that the built quality has been deteriorating. The most recent purchase is the worst. The rough finish of the filter thread is shocking--- see picture attached. I have a video of water dripping from the side instead of through filter, but somehow cannot upload. I may have to start looking for alternative brand.

If yours “leaks,” you need to unscrew it & redo it. The threads aren’t lined up - fix it. FILTER LIFE IS CONTINGENT ON HOW HARD YOUR WATER IS!!! This is common sense. Some will replace filter quicker than others. This is thoroughly explained in the pamphlet included with the product. The harder your water, the faster the filter change. It’s why you have a meter! If it smells fishy, change the filter! This works. It’s a shame people refuse to read the materials included with this product, let alone the description on the listing…then want to leave a bad review because of their ignorance.

Quality is not as expected the leak, and sometimes they don't thread into the water filter.
They used to come with hard plastic lids on top. Now they come with foil. This is our second time receiving these water filters with the foil. We have had to return one whole box as they would not stop leaking and now we’re trying to return the next one we got as one won’t even thread into the water filter. They are all the sudden inferior Products.
