This process seals the cover to help prevent bed bugs and dust mites from entering or escaping. Encasements are designed with an exclusive triple-seal closure system including an inner flap, a hook & loop corner seal, and a nylon zipper for additional security coverage. In addition to soft and breathable, noiseless knit fabric, each mattress encasement boasts waterproof and stain-resistant protection to protect against unwanted allergens, bed bugs, dust mites, spills, and incontinence so you can sleep safe, especially for those with asthma or other respiratory conditions. Available in an array of size options including twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and california king. Stretch sidewalls fit most mattresses and box springs, up to 10 inches. A: Thanks for your inquiry. This can be used on both a mattress or box spring, however, please note that the sidewall on this fits up to 10" height only. Many mattresses these days are quite higher than 10".

I know it said no heat, but shrunk .... a lot
Using the lowest heat to dry, it barely fits over a 5" box spring (much smaller than normal box spring). There is some give to the material, but since the center of both sides of the cover a meshy material that shrunk it made it difficult to stretch around the sides. At this price I was expecting more.

GREAT!
I have a thinner mattress and I hate how regular mattress protectors don't fit it snugly, so I use this for my mattress and my box spring and it fits perfect. Washes great. And material feels high quality.
