The mat was a necessity due to my hardwood floor but the size matched my rug perfectly and stuck like glue to keep the rug from slipping. Great quality and works great!

The rug pad came in a bit larger than the rug (8x10 vs 7x10) however it was easily cut down to fit.

Solid standard rug mat
It’s exactly like the pictures, does a good job keeping the rug in place. It does smell bad when you first open the bag but the smell dissipates after a couple hours.

8’ x 10’ Non Slip Rug Pad
Do not recommend. Adds no padding. It’s simply flat webbed rubber or nylon and was not needed in my home as my furniture holds the rug in place. Also found it very difficult to work with. I’m returning it.

Thin pad
It's kind of thin and cheap. Also had a very strong chemical smell upon opening - perhaps unhealthy. It was difficult to get it to lay flat and stay in place when placing an 8x10 rug over it. With two people it may be fine but a heavier pad would be ideal.
