I had the panels done on both of my cats (brother and sister) and I really appreciated the health factors, the blood types, etc. I printed it and shared it with my new veterinarian which I believe will be informative for them as well. It was fascinating to see the different breeds in them as well as what their parents and grandparents might be.

I was disappointed with this. I tested 4 of my cats (so I spent a good chunk). I feel like the breed results are off. The cat I just knew had “Norwegian forest cat” genes didn’t come up with this and instead my cat that resembles in no way did. The cat I was most interested to find out about had the least amount of information. None of my cats had any outstanding medical conditions. You’re basically paying for a test to tell you what your cat looks like which you already know.

I feel that the test provided me with great results. I like the history they give you on cat. The results got to me in a timely manner and it was a pretty easy process.

As a vet , I recommend these ! They are so easy and important to know some of these health tests! I like having the mdr1 test and hageman and the pkd tests for my kitties!! Quick and easy to do and so helpful!! Fun to determine some breed characteristics as well !

I have two ragdolls with the cat I found. He looks and has all the signs of being Bengal. Even golden coat, small head, black paws etc. but his DNA came back part Ragdoll. When I thought about it- he licks them, sleeps with them and plays with them. I would advise a mouth rinse or cat separation before testing. Otherwise - interesting and a little helpful. Just not sure which cat health results I’m getting.

Tested our two adopted shelter kittens. Not sure if they’re siblings but, seems likely. I wish this was actually defined in the results if and how our cats are related. Otherwise nice to have their genetic risks known and likely traits identified. Basically they’re mixed breed cats, healthy and happy.
