I love Special K original but something has changed. I thought I had chipped a tooth on something hard. I looks like rice. This is the only cereal I eat. So I would like to know what has changed.

I have not had (classic) Special K in a number of years for no other reason than I stopped eating cereal. Happy to enjoy it again today, I discovered hard pebble like pieces mixed in. These match the color of the cereal and I was concerned it would literally break a tooth. In fact that is what I thought happened until I examined the little pieces. Need to fix this issue, Kellogg’s. What is it????? I still have the box for the UPC code and dates. Still tasty but not taking any chances with this cereal.

I tried this Toasted Rice Cereal as a healthy cereal with low sugar and high protein. But there are tiny bits in it that I feel literally can break a tooth. I thought maybe a bad batch, but I see others also had the same experience. I hope they can fix this as though I like the cereal, I just can not buy again in fear of hurting or breaking my teeth.

I used to eat Special K as a kid. Recently I tried it and there were all these pieces of hard material in it. It almost broke my teeth! It like eating a bag of cement.

I bought this cereal 3 separate times over the last month and a half to be able to rate it fairly. While I enjoy the flavor the texture is inconsistent. I'd be enjoying my cereal just to have a sharp pain from something inedible (I just assumed a raw grain of rice). It's a good thing I'm not old, because I probably would have broken my teeth on this cereal.

I have always liked Special K and have it in my rotation of cereals to buy but the box I just bought last week is different. It has small, very hard pieces in it that actually hurt my teeth when I chew them. What is this? I won't be buying more if this is the recipe now. I have the Original Special K.
