This is a great product. If you are looking for energy then you found the right place. Amino Energy is FANTASTIC. I take this every day and it gives me that boost. Orange is my favorite with Fruit Fusion coming in second. You wont find a better product to boost your energy level and help with muscle fatigue.

Wish there were not dyes in it
I love the flavor I love the energy but wish youbwould eliminate the dyes from it. Yellow 5 and red 40? Is that really necessary? For that reason I can no longer use your product. You fix that and I will be back as a customer.

Thank you for reaching out to us at Optimum Nutrition. We understand your concern following the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s decision to no longer allow the use of Red Dye No. 3 in food effective January 2027. However, this ingredient is not used in any Optimum Nutrition products.

Optimum Nutrition Essential Amino Energy Orange
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved this new Optimum Nutrition Energy drink it tasted great and it has helped a lot with my workouts me and my husband are endurance training for running, Product provides a nice energetic boost whenever consumed perfect for getting thru the day or extra energy for workouts. Not overly strong but just enough to give me energy for my workout. I deff will be buying this again.

Tastes great and works even better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure of what to expect when I first took this. But, after completing a 5k training jog, I came home and did 3 hrs of yard work. I would have kept going if my body didn't tell me to take my behind in the house and sit down. I will definitely be using this during my 5k & 10k training and during the next race. The next day, I was expecting to have to crawl out of bed, but I felt fine!!! As for the taste, I was expecting a chemical/protein type taste with a bitter aftershock. But, it is comparable to a fresh fruit juice with no weird flavor or after taste.

Great taste, no jitters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Optimum Nutrition Amin.O. Energy is always a great pre-/post-workout supplement because, for one, it's one of the only energy enhancers on the Vitamin Shoppe/GNC shelves to also include essential BCAAs (branch chain amino acids); second, it does not have the grainy, sickening aftertaste that many pre-workouts do, leaving you feeling pure and energized without jitters, as opposed to nauseous and feeling like your heart will fail. Usually, the flavor advertised tastes a lot like that flavor would if it were a soda pop or juice. You can count on Amin.O. Energy to not ruin your workout. One potential downside, depending on the user, is that it could be easy to build up tolerance to it quickly (after only a few uses). On the positive side, this product is extremely cost-efficient, costing less than $40 on the shelf, where others cost $50 and above.

Gave me a little energy

Great Tasting and Fast Recovery!

A boost of energy when working out.
