Got the dark violet purple color advertised to work especially well on dark hair with no bleaching required, was really excited about this color. It turned out to be the ugliest red I've seen, all the other reviews saying the purple comes out red are correct. The dye was a orangey terracotta color and didn't get much better. I'll literally never purchase from this brand again.

The shade rage was perfect and i had no complaints! The scent of it was okay during the application but had no scent afterwards. The packaging was in perfect condition no dents and no openings or anything.

I'd give it a zero. I don't know if it was an expired box or what but it turned my hair bright orange and I followed the instructions to the T. I've never had box dye do that. Thankfully it also did not STAY in my hair and washed out in 3 days. Maybe it was just a bad box but I'll never risk or try this again and hope it never happens to anyone else

Well to be honest, it turned my scalp red. When mixing the product it looked orange and I was very confused. I dyed my hair on April 12 and the color is still coming out. Staining my towels, shirts, pillowcases. Do not recommend.

The process was a bit challenging at first—changing from such a dark natural shade isn't easy—but the results were worth it. My hair looks shiny, feels healthy, and the color turned out vibrant and even. I bought two boxes from the start and used both during the process, which I definitely recommend, especially if you have long or thick hair. One box might not be enough for full coverage. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out and would consider using this dye again. It’s a great option for a bold change without leaving your hair feeling damaged.

The color came out great surprisingly on my dark brown hair. What I completely dislike is the fact that the color transfer even after two weeks! The second my hair gets wet it bleeds color, dying my pillows, hoodies, shirts, etc. Anytime I do my hair, my hands end up stained from the dye. Definitely not worth it to me.

This color was salted caramelo and the dyed hair was almost like the color stated, just a bit brassier. It had good lift for no bleach. The process was simple and there was enough product to dye medium length hair. There wasn’t any bad chemical smell which was a plus.

My natural color is black, but I have some gray hair, the result was amazing as my grays turn into a platinum shade, and the black turn into a light brown shade, so it looks like i got highlights. I’m very please with the results, I highly recommend these product.

I love this brand of hair dye BUT the Dark Intense Violet pulled very red. I used to get a very similar color a long time ago and I always loved how purple-y it turned out. This is far from what the box looks like. For reference, I have dark brown hair and some gray. As you can see in the photo, the grays resisted this color quite a bit and is much lighter (which is no one’s fault). You can’t tell on the length but it looks more red than anything. It also stained my scalp. This has never happened to me before. With this being said, I don’t hate this color but I’m disappointed that it wasn’t what I was hoping for. I would do this color again ONLY if I’m going for a red. Until then, I’ll be looking for a different dye that will have a more violet result.

I bought R2 Medium Intense Auburn, because Target was out of my usual hair dye.It smells nice after mixing, not strong.It was sloppy and turned my hair and skin bright red. The hair dye is hard to apply unlike other brands.

I don't have a lot of gray but the little that I do have, it didn't color them all that well. Luckily it's only a few strands here and there so it still looks nice and well blended. I would recommend.
