I'm worth it but price of color isn't
Had been going to a salon & paying the high prices for color & didn't feel like it was worth that much money, so decided to do it myself. This color seemed to match my own but once applied didn't see much difference. The grays were definitely not colored & my feel like my roots were fully colored either. Will try just getting a box of color & applying it with a brush to get the roots & grays covered completely. Not worth this price point.

Loved the device - I have dark brown to black hair color that has quite a lot of gray. I left the product on a little longer than recommended since I was covering grays but did not offer any coverage - did seem to tone them down a little but just does not work at all for my hair to cover grays.

Horrible hair color, good device
Horrible hair color, good device. The brush device is great, easy to use and clean, makes coloring hair wildly more pleasant and simple. But the dye itself barely lasts 3 washes. I have brown hair with some greys and within a week, my greys were showing again. Major bummer because the device is awesome. They need to make better quality dye AND get the price point for refills closer to a box dye rate.

Often doesn't work
This product works well sometimes. These are really expensive and several of them did nothing. There isn't an expiration date on the box so it's impossible to know how long it was sitting on a shelf before I purchased it.

Did not work at all – gray hairs not covered
have used the L’Oréal Colorsonic in this exact color before and always got excellent results. However, this time, the product was much more liquid than usual and did not cover my gray hairs at all. I followed the instructions carefully, but there was no visible effect on my hair. Very disappointed, and I would not recommend this batch of the product.

While I like this color initially, after 3 washes the color washes off and I needed a touch up already. It’s good for a quick fix last minute touch up but not long term hair color. I thought it would save me money but I end up buy more hair dye to cover the grays. I hope they improve the formula.

My world will never be the same
It cut in half the time it takes to dye my hair at home AND doesn’t miss any spots! It would be a God send straight outta Heaven if the cartridges actually were able to be used for 1 full color and 2 root touch ups. The second time I went to touch up my roots, the catryrdhr only let out developer and was useless. It’s still a home hair color game changer for me because I miss spots easily but not at all with this and I’m still amazed at how quick & easy it was to do, I dread this task every 4/6 weeks, but not anymore! Whoever invented this needs a trophy and huge raise. Im sure the cartridge issue will be resolved by L’oreal soon. Then it will be the best beauty tool I have ever purchased! I LOVE it, and the time it gives back to me to do anything but dye my roots! I have very light blond roots plus a few grays and this got those light roots to the black brown shade I wanted with no problem.

Good tool bad hair dye
The tool is neat but the hair dye is awful! Literally every color of brown I have used has turned my hair orange/auburn. I tried light ash brown, medium natural brown and dark natural brown...they all are bad! I really liked the tool because it's easy for me to dye my own hair (I never have been able to on my own) but the dye itself just doesn't make it worth it. Plus it takes 2 packs to dye my medium length hair so at $60 I might as well go back to the salon and have someone do it for a little More $.

I like the convenience and ease of this system. Color choices are good. Dye was not excessively drying. However, it’s extremely expensive for what you get.
